I ve been here before and loved it. But my last visit makes me less infused to return. The woman at the counter seemed like she hates people; didn't greet us, was impatient, didn't say anything but the cost. Then the food, maybe I ve grown since I last came but the portions are not what they use to be.... More

The place doesn't look all that great...tents, portable toilets, picnic tables, and generally unkempt, and the food is not that great. Sure, it's relatively cheap, but my smoked turkey had a gas-like flavor to it. The beans were not to my liking. And no ice for your drinks?! Seems more food truck than restaurant. Wish I'd eaten elsewhere.

I ordered the rib tips , which came with cole slaw and the barbecue sauce on the side . Meat texture was chewy with lots of fat and connective tissue cut in large pieces , not my ideal of tips! The cole slaw was made with butter milk :-( ! The sauce was great !

The food in this place is fantastic! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. We shared a slab of ribs and 2 sandwiches between three people, and it was just right. The location is also very nice, surrounded by trees and near the river. This place is highly recommended! As mentioned by others, this place is packed, so make sure you... More

This one is a gem. It's a very popular place, yet it still has a small town feeling that makes you feel welcomed. The place itself has a very good vibe, with a record player and vintage deccor, and the food is spectacular: best pulled pork sandwich I've ever had, awesome coleslaw, mexican coke and very decent sweet beans.

I recently went back to Eli's and was disappointed in the ribs. Same great spice and sauce, but they used to be meaty with a strong smoky flavor...this time they were greasy with a hint of gasoline. The hot dog was still a treat. We ate outside but had to go across the lane to escape the loud music coming... More

Last Friday night we decided to try our first dinner at Eli's. We knew it would be crowded--we were right. They told us it would be 75 minutes until we could get our food. Fortunately, we brought along our own beverages and sat outside at one of the many picnic tables, and had fun waiting for our sandwiches and side... More

I love good barbecue, and this hits the spot. It also just has the feel of a barbecue place. My one issue when I came was the service. It's mostly DIY, but the kids who work here can be snotty.

Restaurant is very small - seats maybe 24. LOTS of seating outside, picnic tables and tents - which was lots of fun on a Saturday afternoon after a Reds' game! Place was packed, line was long. Ribs VERY meaty - pulled pork is PLENTIFUL on a bun. Sauce is really good, better than the overrated Montgomery Inn. Had the cheesy... More
