Eli's offers a unique experience in that the focus is the food and it has expanded and succeeded on that premise.

First time we went there, Eli's was a tiny place with some picnic tables in the back and a really eclectic space indoors for those who got there early enough. It took and takes cash only and it has, at peak hours, some really long waits. And it all works because the food is delicious. As word of... read more

To start... I am not a big fan of barbecue, but there are always rave reviews for this place so I wanted to give it a good chance. The pulled pork is good (not the best that I have every had) but it was tasty. Since I'm not a good reviewer of barbecue, I decided to give more information on... More

There seem to be 2 locations for Eli's, the main one is on Riverside drive and the other is at Findlay Market: 133 West Elder Street, Cincinnati, OH 45202 I visited the one at Findlay Market last Sunday for a pulled pork sandwich. It a tiny place, really just a counter and kitchen, no indoor seating (but there is an... More

Best parts are the food itself and sitting outside on a nice day. You can even bring a cooler with your own drinks. A meat plate with 2 very big sides was only $8. I had the turkey which was very moist and tender, just wish the sandwich had more meat on it. My friend said his pulled pork was... More

Tried the pulled pork, smoked turkey and rib tips while visiting Findlay market today. I must say that this was the best pulled pork I believe I have ever ate. My daughter loved the turkey.

You've got to eat here! It's not your typical restaurant set-up but don't let that fool you....the food is delicious! You order at the counter and its BYOB. In the summertime make sure you get here early because the line is out the door!

Finally made it to Eli's for lunch. You order at the counter then they bring your food to your table after a brief wait. Keep in mind - They only take cash and checks. No credit cards are taken. I got the pulled pork and it blew my mind. Completely non-greasy, non-fatty, but still moist and very tender. It comes... More

While visiting the Findlay Market we stopped at Eli's because we heard the bbq was good. My hubby and i had the rib tips, jalapeño cheddar grits and bakes beans. It took 20 minutes to prepare- no problem. The rib tips were delicious! However the sauce was on side and it was cold!! What??!! So here we were dipping hot... More

When I lived in Texas & NC, I learned to appreciate BBQ in whole new ways. How does one pick the best BBQ in Texas? Find Texans waiting in line, usually in front of a tent or a truck. Long lines, even. Lo and behold, one day riding down Eastern Avenue, I saw this. Cheerful people, waiting in a block... More
