A great concept: order at the counter, cool LP and vibe, grab your own drinks, and tent if there is no room inside. A lovely location out along the river--and therefore close to Hyde Park and Mt. Lookout. But the best reason to go is the pork BBQ sandwich which was the best that I had ever eaten. There is... More

I guess when you're as good at what you do as these people are, you don't need much more than simple word of mouth. That's how we arrived at this interesting eatery. Our timing was perfect for a Friday night. We snagged a table on the way in, placed our orders from the chalk board menu and were enjoying our... More

Went here when looking for good ribs and I wasn't disappointed. They use an interesting rub which must include a good dose of brown sugar because the sweetness comes through strongly. It was different than I was expecting, but good. The pulled pork was also very good. The place is BYOB so keep that in mind. I would recommend this... More

It's not easy to find beef ribs. Eli's are fantastic! This is a funky, small, off the beaten path of a restaurant with limited indoor seating. First time was on a Sunday afternoon and they were full, so I had to eat in the "heated" outdoor tent and it was below freezing at the time. It was cold and drafty.... More

Nothing pretentious about this place the sign is an iron pig, the inside is hipster with a turntable for playing LPs. The food? Well the food is amazing. Best hot dog ever, sorry Senate, pulled pork is amazing and smoked turkey is out of this world. The sides are great as well. One word of caution this place gets very... More

Visitors to Cincinnati are always drawn to the riverfront Montgomery's Inn with its river and Kentucky views, large menu, good BBQ, and busy bar scene. If you are drawn to great BBQ, try Eli's just a mile plus east from downtown Riverside Dr. It is cramped and humble, but offers great BBQ. There is not a lot of seating and... More

My wife had her about Eli's, we were nearby and decided to stop and give it a try. Late afternoon on a Sunday, very limited inside seating, so we decided to get an order to go. There is an option to go outside in tents, it was cold and rainy, so was not an option for us. We almost never... More

This little gem is one of my favorite places in all of Cincinnati! As a native to the area, I always eat at Eli's whenever I come home for a visit. My favorite choice is the hot dog plate which is delicious beyond words. The sides are all delicious, the food is a real bargain and the staff is always... More

Great barbecue, generous portions, great prices. BYOB. Staff who were friendly and appreciated the fact we patronized their business. No need to say any more - except maybe it's cash only and limited seating inside, but they had a heated tent set up outside for overflow. If you love BBQ, get to Eli's.
