If you are going here, go early! Had dinner at 5 pm and there was a line already. By 6 pm the line was very long. In terms of BBQ it was perky average. The pictures of the BBQ Hot Dogs looked good, but I would skip it. Sat outside because of the noise and blaring music inside, but there... More

First, I would recommend this restaurant because the food is good, plentiful and very reasonably priced. However, this is not a world class BBQ place like it has been hyped up to be. The meat is tender and has a light smoke to it and the sauce is somewhat sweet and peppery. It's good but nothing really special. I have... More

My daughter and I had to be in Cincinnati Tuesday and we always like to find a restaurant that we have not been to so I was researching restaurants on my phone while she drove. Eli's came up with a good recommendation so we gave it a try. Without the good reviews about the food we would never have gone... More

Wow. I don't get it. Food is very good but not worth waiting and sitting on hard bench or tight quarters. I have eaten it a dozen times and prefer getting it to go and enjoying good food (it is) somewhere relaxing. They have become something of an Urban legend and I wish them great success. But if you need... More

This small joint has great BBQ. I highly recommend calling ahead for carry out service during peak hours because the lines can be long. Bring cash or check and enjoy great food. Everything is awesome. During the summer you can eat outside. Don't skip this place.

Our son wanted Eli's for his birthday celebration and what a party it was. There are plenty of picnic tables set up in the back, some are under a large awning, and it's like a neighborhood block party. We were lucky to get in line before the real crowds hit. We had the smoked turkey which was wonderful, as was... More

Bring your own drinks (alcohol included) and prepare to sit outside and wait. Pulled pork: awesome. Ribs: awesome Beans: awesome Slaw: awesome Dinner for $27 included 6 ribs ($2.50 each), a pulled pork sandwich, the sides, and two cokes. Friendly, happy people, music, and great community spirit. Simple experience, great times.

Wow!!! Eli's bbq is a well known bbq place mostly visited by locals in Cincinnati, Ohio. The concept is simple: small interior with a few tables, but plenty of seating outside to enjoy! Be patient, place might be crowded but is well worth the wait. Hear local bands playing while you wait for your food. You're allowed to bring your... More

Recommend: Pulled Pork Beans Corn Bread **CASH ONLY. One of the best BBQ joints in Cincinnati. Even though it is usually very crowded, especially during weekends, it is worth the wait. I would suggest going with a group and brining some beer or liquor and try to enjoy the wait rather than dreading it. The only thing I wouldn't recommend... More
