After living for 15 years in Brussels, we were expecting a more authentic Belgian bistro. The plain waffle was dry and hard, one gets better quality at the local supermarket (!). The traditional crepe was cold and dry. We will not come back and do not recommend. The only passable item was the raisin scone - which is not Belgian.... More

This restaurant is a fun, different option in Cincy. Brunch is very good, but pricey and always crowded. Beer selection is top notch. There is a bakery where you can buy a la carte waffles if the wait for a table is too long. Rating reflects very good food, but expensive prices and too crowded atmosphere.

On Sat and Sunday they open at 9 am and by 10 the place is full!! Excellent coffees and a diverse crowd. Also in a very cool part of Cincinnati. Good shops all around. Do not miss it!

If I hadn't visited the bathrooms prior to leaving - this would have been my glowing review... For these Houstonians - this place was a bit eclectic but not too far off course from some of our local flavor. The staff was so upbeat and fun. The music was just loud enough, not too loud. The patrons were all having... More

Wonderful service. The crepes were outstanding and the burger concoction I ordered was the best hamburger I've ever had. Area is urban and sketchy, but we were there in the late afternoon and it was fine.

My family dined at TOB for brunch, and enjoyed the experience, but felt the restaurant fell short in a few key areas. First, our waffles were slightly overdone, compared to a previous visit, and other "authentic" Belgian waffles. Second, for the popular chicken and waffles, there was way too much tobasco sauce poured on the waffle, and not as much... More

Gosh I cannot say enough great things about this place. The decor is beautiful. Very chic and ecclectic. The food is phenomenal. For brunch, the belgian French toast is delicious. Now if you're doing dinner here, you must must must get the chicken and waffles. MUST. (If you are expecting Roscoes, you're at the wrong place). The combination of the... More

The service was amazing. I've been here several times and although the food is great, the service takes it over the top. It's been busy every time I've gone, but it's worth the wait and the servers never make you feel rushed once you've sat down. I don't think I've ever been to a restaurant with such great service.

Surprising bistro in located in an up and coming neigborhood. Real Belgian food without having to go to Belgium! Steak and frites! Poached pears! Too many Belgian beers to count. Wonderful Belgian wines. Very casual. A bit noisy. Well worth visiting. Keep a couple of $ bills in your pocket to buy off the annoying street people.

We recently joined a group of friends at the TASTE OF BELGUIM in Over-The_Rhine on Vine Street right next door to the Ensemble Theater (great place for shows!) The Taste was a good place to meet. Since we had such a large party, they sat us at the large bakers table in the bakery part of the restaurant. Comfortable, service... More
