I've been here before, but took three colleagues who are in town for work this week and scored big points with all of them. The menu is mostly "small dishes", ideal for sharing, and creative. The four of us shared six dishes and it was a great meal, served with a variety of wines by the glass, including several offered... More

This tiny restaurant was crowded and loud. We were immediately seated at the bar and the service was good. The food changes seasonally. The food we ate (plates featuring steak, potatoes, beets and scallops) were delicious. I would not return to this restaurant simply because I do not care for Mediterranean food. The upscale scene this restaurant provided is not... More

Hubby and I went for an early dinner. First tapa was the octopus with garbanzo beans. This was our favorite dish and was a very tender and flavorful rendition of a tricky seafood. Next was the flat iron steak with roasted cauliflower and Brussels sprouts. This was a smokey and tender cut of meat with a generous portion of veggies.... More

It's no secret that OTR is booming lately in downtown Cincinnati. There are a lot of great, innovative restaurants, but Abigail Street stands out as one of the best. It has many small plates that you can share with others and has a great, cozy atmosphere. The local ricotta and honey was AMAZING. My husband loved their lamb burgers and... More

Really enjoyed our meal at Abigail Street this weekend. We were there on a night they were serving Paella and I have to say it is one of the best I've had. In addition to the Paella the other small plate options were all wonderful. The setting is great. Our group of four sat at the bar height tables and... More

Did Abigail Street this past weekend, we tend to like tapas. Our server, Brad was good, and made us feel welcome and taken care of. The food however was good but not great. We had some toasts with prosciutto which we thought were a good start. We also had the gnocchi which we thought were lacking. Most of the flavor... More

While I had very little good to write about Senate, Abigail Street's older brother, its sister restaurant was excellent and innovative. Fortunate to find a place at the bar, this place is packed all the time, I was the only one at the bar and wondered if the OTR neighborhood was evacuated due to another suburban invasion. I guess I... More

We had an incredible meal here last night. The service was exceptional... The food choices were unique combinations is small plates that we shared. The grilled octopus was a pleasant surprise as was the baklava! Chicken thigh was not the favorite dish but probably because the others were so exceptional. Small place but we were lucky with no wait.. Nice... More

We recently snuck out with our ten month old son in tow to visit the Eagle in OTR. With a two hour wait on a Saturday night we decided to try Abigail Street instead. Boy were we happy. We tried many things including the bacon wrapped dates, spicy shrimp and corn, gnocchi, and halibut. Everything was prepared well and tasted... More

We're in Cincinnati several times a year and there are just too many great restaurants especially in Over the Rhine so sometimes we don't get back to favorites but this is one of them! The small, tapas-style plates are perfect for 3-4 people to share and the variety of Mediterranean dishes is wonderful. Our favorites are always the chorizo stuffed... More
