What a delightful find--a taste of Italy before enjoying an amazing evening of opera! We thoroughly enjoyed his casual little trattoria, reminiscent of some we have enjoyed in Rome and Florence. Our server, Rosa, was fabulous--attentive, very knowledgeable, and charming all while being completely unobtrusive and allowing us to enjoy a leisurely evening. The house label wines from Tuscany are... More

Delicious fig and prosciutto pizza with excellent cocktails by an expert (we had and Old Fashioned and a Pimms Cup). Staff was great with my 12month old son- kind and accommodating. We went at 530 which helped, and had plenty of space.

It's our understanding that this place is pretty lively with the younger crowd at night, but we first experienced it for lunch during our self-guided tour of the OTR urban revitalization phenomenon. Apparently the restaurant has some A/C issues but we didn't have any problems when we were there. We dropped by long after the noonday rush, a strategy we... More

We stopped by for some Pizza and Wine and really liked this spot for people watching and great conversation. Britt, our server, was excellent and the Chianti deserved a second bottle. We had the Margherita Pizza and it was piping hot but didn't have much cheese and was a little runny but we were hungry and it was great. The... More

We were looking for some simple italian food. Ended up at A Tavola. It was hot, (90F and no airco only fans). The food was great however. The Bruschetta mmmm we loved them, the Artichok Pizza mmmm very crispy and rich ff. The high temperature was the reason this restaurant got only 3 *. Get airco and we will come... More

Terrific sandwiches and thin crust pizzas. Located near all the Vine Street shops and the Rookwood Pottery mid-town store.

It was my birthday and I was hammered, but I remember everyone else liking the pizza and I remember liking the beer a lot.

The pizza crust is perfect with the right amount of char and unctuous chew. I love the unique and trendy toppings. The arroncini balls were really good as well the fresh salads. Their cocktails are hip and fun. The vibe is strong with a lot of energy. Even when it's busy, they get the pizzas out quick. Can't wait to... More

We've eaten a lot of neopolitan pizza on this trip. A Tavola was very good; not the best by a long shot. But the meatball appetizer, that was something else. 3 large meatballs, good sauce, shaved parm and some toasted chiabatta to sop it all up with. Outstanding. Nice, energetic place, good service. We sat at the pizza bar and... More
