Description: Local 127 is a new American eatery using only the freshest ingredients. Local 127 combines traditional American dishes handed down over time with practices from the modern American culinary world. Local 127 starts with the farmers. Working closely with the farmers the team is able to use only the finest ingredients according to the season, delivering incredible, tasty dishes. With the art of gastronomy being the driving force, everything from the taste, the presentation, the smell and the feel of Local 127 ties into the idea that without history there would be no today and that without progression there would be no tomorrow. Rather than a tribute to America, Local 127 is more of a celebration of all things American. America being the melting pot that it is, one never knows what might show up on your plate or in your glass at Local 127.

Went for a business lunch and atmosphere during lunch was ideal for that. Not overcrowded or noisy. Food is mostly locally grown. I wanted a burger but since they were out I got the pork sandwich special and was planning to be disappointed. OMG was I wrong. Best pork sandwich ever! I was practically distracted from my meeting because the... More

The service was wonderful - highly attentive without that "hover-y" approach. The waitress did an excellent job of explaining dishes and making recommendations. I followed her recommendation and she was spot on. The food was fresh, unique without being too pretentious or fad like, and beautifully presented. I had the meatloaf which was delicious and not like any meatloaf I... More

Food was so fresh and server was very helpful. Restaurant was noisey and hard to hear people at your table.

If you are at the Hilton or the Westin, don't miss this place. They are dedicated to green and sustainable, and are creative doing it. Our server, Jillian was full of information and helpful in modifying the menu to meet some food allergies and dietary restrictions. The lamb meatballs were excellent, spicy with a touch of heat. Try the beet salad,... More

We loved our experience, the food and presentation was wonderful, the wait staff was very friendly and knowledgable, the atmosphere was lively and very urban in feel (we like that so mean it as a comliment). We understand that when you specialize in local food ingrediants that you will often run out of menu items, it is part of the... More

The atmosphere was nice and quiet. Our service was outstanding. I felt the food was okay but a little pricey for what you get.

Enjoyed a late lunch/early dinner at Local 127. Located one block south of Fountain Square. The food is all locally produced from the meats to the produce. Prices are slightly higher but you can taste the difference. A Chicken Salad sandwich was very good that was offered on the menu. If you've done Palamino's, or McCormick and Schmick or Rock... More

The restaurant is centrally located and such a welcome break from the surrounding steak houses. The cuisine is made from home-style ingredients, yet with an innovative twist - the potato soup with its crunchy crisps, the variations of lamb (sausage, filet) served on a bed of kraut with a hint of horse-radish. Noteworthy is also the tap water they serve,... More

The food is still fabulous- loved the scalops. Desserts are a bit too abstract for my taste. When I made the reservation the hostess asked me for food alergies and preferences. When the waitress came with the specials she recommended exactly the items I mentioned to the hostess that my party can not eat.

Fresh, organic, well made and quite a delightful selection of food for vegetarians as well as regular meat eaters. Waiters are willing to talk about the food and take time with recommendations. Trust their advice; they are spot on!
