Stopping by before dinner for a glass of wine, we found reasonably priced wonderful French Alsatians and Bordeaux selections. Chet Baker crooned from the sound system above us. The art inside and Halloween symbols were reminiscent of French speaking countries that I know and have loved (like Haiti at end October). We'd have preferred a warmer inner temperature as well... We arrived at the restaurant on a recommendation. Parking is nearby but difficult and expensive ($15). We were greated with a great aloofness (even though we had a reservation) and seated at a table. Others were offered a choice of table or booth but we were offered neither. We were offered a choice of sparkling or still water but were... More

I've never been disappointed by the high quality french cuisine anytime I've eaten here. As opposed to other top shelf restaurants like the Palace or Boca, the price is much more reasonable for just as great of an experience. Save room for dessert, as Jean Robert's pastry chef is just as skilled as he is.

In Cincinnati for business and visited for lunch. The menu was unique and we could tell that the food was prepared with care and tasted delicious. Definitely a restaurant fit for foodies. The ambience is eclectic. The artwork is tasteful. White table cloths lend a refined atmosphere but the restaurant is not at all stuffy. We happened to get to... More

I have never been disappointed by a meal I have had at Jean-Robert's Table. The menu changes with the seasons and is always accented with fresh local ingredients. The only trouble you will have with the menu is choosing just one entree to enjoy! The decor is modern and classy yet relaxed. The servers are as professional as you would... More

I was looking for a special place to celebrate a new business award with a customer and my boss. Jean Robert's was highly rated and their website helped with my decision. We were not disappointed. The room is interesting and a little querky. This is not your average bistro; truly a unique experience. Service was spot on. He even helped... More

My sister and I were in Cincinnati over the weekend. It was after 8 and we were looking for a restaurant near our hotel. The "pig" hanging in the doorway caught our eye and we entered Jean-Robert's. From the moment we entered we were impressed by the staff and the appearance of the restaurant. She ordered the burger and I... More

We celebrated our anniversary here last night. We usually go to Boca or Capital Grill for special occasions, but wanted to try Jean-Roberts. Atmosphere is very nice, more of a casual French Brasserie with a hint of Cincinnati. The restaurant is fairly small with a nice bar as you come in on the right. We waited just a few minutes... More

Had high expectations about 'Table', mainly stemming from Jean Robert's reputation. It's a nice place; cozy, not fancy. Our waiter was competent and efficient, if not overly warm. Both my wife's and my main courses were good, not great. I expected more, considering the reputation. The appetizers we had, and the bread, were excellent, as was our wine. I'd probably... More

We have been eating Jean Robert's food ever since he came to Cincinnati. It has been good but we have always had some reservations. These have often been minor and have varied over the years. Over the past year or so things have improved and it is now our favorite place to eat in the city. The atmosphere is pleasant... More
