Superb service, excellent food

My first visit here was a pleasant surprise. The service was superb, something I wasn't expecting. My water glass was never more than half empty and our waiter was very attentive and helpful. He suggested Keshmeri nan bread which was excellent! I highly recommend it. We also got the garlic nan... read more

Dusmesh was Cincinnati's best Indian restaurant -- until it changed hands a couple of years ago. I regret to report that it's gone downhill dreadfully. My last trip there, I even told the owner how disappointed I had been the previous time, and although he promised to personally oversee my 'dining experience,' the Tandoori chicken was served barely lukewarm, and... Overall, not bad but if this is one of the best Indian Restaurants in Cincinnati we are going to be very disappointed! Facility- not bad, cheery colors, decent decorations but the windows are a bit dirty and many light bulbs burned out. So dark the waiter had to turn on his cell phone light to see to write! Service- Hit... More

My wife and I meet often for lunch here. It is midway between where I work and where she works. We love the buffet there. It is hot, fresh, great tasting and a good value. The buffet food is not as spicy as what you can get ordering off the menu, but the selections vary somewhat from day to day... More

a popular spot near Cincinnati State, that doesn't get as much traffic as the Ambar/Akash chain, but with food that is really just as good. Main benefit is that they offer a buffet for lunch for those who would like to try greater variety. At <$10 per person, hard to beat - one of my regular lunch locations

I love great food but when I am in a rush I can do a good buffet. That is exactly what I found here. A nicely stacked buffet with a sampling of their best dishes. 2 of us had lunch for less than $20. My experience had great service so, for what I was looking for this restaurant rates 4... More

We eat here at least 2 time per month. Food: Very very good and seasoned perfectly. We ask for #2 which is pleasantly spicy. And we get the Chef's special naan, yummy Service: Friendly and fast Specialties: They have the best Lamb dishes in the city with many choices. The Lamb is very tender, they also serve goat.

There are a lot of Indian restaurants in and around Cincinnati but Dusmesh stands out to me because of the variety of their menu, and more importantly, the variety on their buffet. As a vegetarian I get used to having most place offer 2-3 options but they usually have 5-6. The buffet is kept hot and fresh nan comes out... More

This used to be our favorite Indian restaurant in Cincinnati. A few months ago we noticed that the overall quality dropped and wondered why. We soon learned that the restaurant had been sold and has a new staff and chef. It's still a very good Indian restaurant, just no longer any better than most of the others in Cincinnati. I... More

First the positives. Easy parking. Nice décor. Wait staff is attentive. Food portions are ample. However, the carpet was littered. No one seem to care. The food does not have the depth of flavor found in some of Cincinnati's other Indian restaurants. Some people swear by Dusmesh. Not me.
