Flavorful, good presentation. They keep one table by the door for diners without reservations. Being close to the door was no problem; there's a buffer area.

Every aspect of our visit to the Saffron restaurant was incredible. The service was top notch and personal. The food was some of the best we have ever had. It is fresh and exquisitely prepared. The menu changes periodically with the availability of foods. We had numerous appetizers but the octopus was incredible and melted in our mouths. The pork... More

Did not have a reservation it was busy still managed a couple of seats at the bar . The owner and chef ran a nice clean kitchen and his wife kept an interesting array of local wines coming . The food was local and inovative , and all dishes were well done .

We had heard about this place a couple of years ago and never made it until now, what a great find. Such interesting dishes and choices were hard for our group of five. We loved everything, plus the wine the waiter suggested was perfect. Dinner was relaxed, the evening was wonderful. Keep an open taste bud when eating here as... More

Though small in size, Saffron offers an incredible menu filled with inspired dishes. I chose the hanger steak which was cooked perfectly and my wife selected the calamari fettuccine which was also quite good! In our opinion, it was the finest meal we ate all week.

They had us at "Mediterranean." It sounded perfect after a day spent driving the backroads around Walla Walla, and we weren't disappointed. We arrived early for our reservation, and were given a table along the wall. The place is small; make sure you make a reservation! We both ordered a lamb special, and a grilled asparagus appetizer that was incredible... More

Everyone told us Saffron was THE place to go. We thought it was ok. Nice interior, good crowd, but the hanger steak was a bit tough.

We dined here after a full day of wine tasting in Walla Walla. The place is small and friendly. Our wait staff was super friendly and knew the menu very well. She was efficient, spot on with serving. Ordered two appetizers as the main course: Grilled Walla Walla Sweet Onion : braised pork, toasted walnuts, smoked olive oil, Monteillet Causse... More

Our reservation was lost (things happen). When the owner refused to remotely seem to care about this and blamed us for the mixup and to top it off was downright rude about it we decided to take our business elsewhere. Their are plenty of good restaurants in Walla Walla to dine at without having to support such behavior

I dined here with my elderly parents and the meal was enjoyed by all. The wine list offers good local wines and there are some drops if looking for more international flavor. The beef cheeks that all have written about are as good as they say. The grilled Pita was a treat but we may have been better to just... More
