Great service, magical ambiance and terrific food. We ordered a special of flash fried peppers that were killer, the Blood Orange salad was fantastic and I had one of their special flat bread dishes. All tremendously flavorful. My husband ordered a calamari pasta dish that was a bit disappointing (little seafood present) and overpriced but that wouldn't stop us from... More

This is a very casual restaurant downtown but the food is superb! My husband and I sat at the bar (wooden seats - O.K., not my fav), so we had access to the manager and her tips. The fresh, tiny green peppers that had just arrived from a local farmer were recommended; sauteed in olive oit and laced with salt,... More

I always try to look at the terrible reviews for an establishment, but did not have a chance to do so this time around. The big complaints seem to be with the haughty service provided to some visitors. We were perhaps lucky, but the service was very good during our visit. The waiter was friendly and helpful in selecting our... More

Great food, outstanding service, can't wait for next visit. The halibut with clams was perfectly cooked, my dinner partner kept trying for more tastes! We enjoyed heirloom tomato salad and onion appetizer, each was large enough to share easily. His chicken was moist and tender. Too full for desert--although the choices were plentiful.

I would give this place a super high rating except for the fact that we have eaten here twice and both times the servers have been so bizarre in their mannerisms I just can't. Food is off the chain good but they try really hard not to be normal. It's just an opinion but I think this is a case... More

The waitperson was so knowledgable in helping us decide on appropriate amount of food to order, we ended up with the grilled onion appetizer, heirloom tomato salad, flatbread, and we split the lamb tagine. This allowed us to taste all the glorious flavors without being totally stuffed. Each item delivered to our table was better and more delicious than the... More

The Saffron Mediterranean Kitchen was amazing! From the food to the service to the intimate little setting downtown... it all works! On our first night, we had an heirloom salad with olives and tried two of their pasta dishes - both wow! The thing that sold us on coming again was this flatbread dessert with fresh peaches. One of the... More

Second night in Walla Walla and birthday dinners here were unbelievable. I had the lamb tine which was absolutely amazing. No visit to Walla Walla is complete without dinner at Saffron's Mediterranean Kitchen. Don't miss out.

Saffron Med Kitchen wins the "best of" from us for Walla Walla dining this trip. Having read numerous reviews, we had to give this place a shot. Both couples shared Saffron's Tomato Salad. These were terrific, fresh and delicious in every way. A great start to our meal. Everyone except me had the special of the night, a NY Strip... More

Flavorful, good presentation. They keep one table by the door for diners without reservations. Being close to the door was no problem; there's a buffer area.
