Difficult to get in for good reason. This will be the best food you ever put in your mouth. Period. The hostess, who is also the owner, is enchanting!

Octopus Salad must be done right to be good, and the salad was deliciously perfect. We also had melt in your mouth cod. The brick interior creates an intimate ambiance. Saffron is a new favorite!

Everyone recommended Saffron, so we booked it our first night in Walla Walla. It was an excellent meal, although we had equally good dinners the next two nights in somewhat more comfortable surroundings. The dining room is not large, and tables are close together. The entryway is a small square curtained area, with a sign asking guests to wait there... More

I could go on and on. This is a great restaurant with excellent food and a Super!-friendly staff. Full of locals when we were there - definitely a good sign in a town with a big tourist trade like Walla Walla.

We decided to spend a couple days exploring Walla Walla on our way back from Portland. Friends recommended Saffron and we dropped by just before 5 pm on a Sunday and were offered seating with the caveat that we be done in 2 hours as they had a reservation. My initial impression was luke warm with the way they handled... More

We had a group of 6 for dinner and while cozy, wasn't over crowded. The appetizers were amazing. I've never had lamb tartare and Kimmy the server explained carefully the dish, plus any other we had questions about. The flatbread with pork belly and corn was particularly tasty! Our group enjoyed the cod, game hen and tangine. One person did... More

Casual atmosphere was nice but I thought the decor could be upgraded some. The food was excellent and the service was very good.

Get reservations in advance. Eat outside if the weather permits. It is a bit noisy inside. The food is amazing and service is attentive. We enjoyed the hanger steak and a pasta dish. They have a nice wine list. We enjoyed the Ciel Du Cheval from Tamarack Cellers.

We came here on a bustling Friday night. The restaurant is small and the tables are jammed on top of each other, but the food was excellent. Arguably our overall best meal in Walla Walla. We were a little late to get reservations but they were willing to work with us and get us two seats at the small bar.... More

Make reservations 3 weeks ahead - this is a busy place The food is excellent - the flavor and spices and the whole experience was fabulous. We usually skip the salads/ greens - we can do that at home - and we choose a light wine from Spain at $ 40 ...it was a great choice to keep the fair... More
