Great food. Service was wonderful. Everyone in the party enjoyed their food - lamb, porkchop, beef carpaccio, but best of all fingerling potatoes. I'm very picky about my cappucchino - they know how to make a good one! Wine list was decent - I wish it's more tailored to local wines and have pairing with the menu....just a wish.

Saffron Mediterranean serves delicious food - no doubt about it. However I felt just a bit of an 'edge' to the experience. Just a small sense of 'don't tell the artist how to do things'. I feel that a great restaurant serves great food and offers great hospitality (both). I think Saffron offers very good food and good (not great)... More

Saffron is one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Perfect upscale dinner for those wine tasting in Walla Walla. The atmosphere and service were great and the food was even better.

Four foodies from Portland ventured to Walla Walla for a wine experience, but in addition to the wine we found a great bed and breakfast (Green Gables) and a great first dinner at Saffron. Tim, our most excellent server, couldn't have been better. The food was fantastic from the duck pappardelle to the marinade skirt steak. You must try this... More

My husband and I were in town for some wine tasting and happened to score the Chef's Table at Saffron on a Thursday night. It is in a hole in the wall building off the main street of town. The decor is ecclectic and funky and the dining experience was absolutely fabulous. Aside of watching the chefs prepare their wonderful... More

Even though we were late for our reservation and the last diners in the restaurant, we were welcomed and not rushed. Service was excellent and the meal was wonderful. We started with the Keftedes, Asparagus salad and our entrees consisted of the Flatbreads, Angolotti, Salmon and Hanger Steak. Every thing was delicious and we had no room for desserts. This... I dined here recently ( two nights in a row!) and was very pleased on both occasions. They used locally grown peas, lettuce , asparagus and even fava beans in some of the menu items. Morels were in season so they were also included in some dishes. The flatbread that is made in the wood burning oven was excellent as... More

Tried the Octopus, it was tender and delicious with salsa Verde. Pici wild boar ragu yum. Waiter was great help with picking dinner and help with other places to try while in Walla Walla.

So, you've eaten all around the globe and here you are in Walla Walla, Washington -- how good can this food be? Well, put away the tickets to the far corners of the earth and get over to Walla Walla....quick! This place served one of the finest meals my wife and I have ever had. I could gush about the...
