Nice local place

The reviews were shining for this little restaurant. We'd been there before when it was something else. It's nicely located, good for locals and visitors alike. It is friendly, clean, comfortable, the service was just perfect and the food was great. Not fancy or arrogant, just great. We'll be back.

After a lovely day in the countryside of Walla Walla we went for a nice above scale dinner. We were disappointed on all acts. The place was packed but we were seated immediately indoors. After about 15 min someone came by for drink orders. We waited and hour for our meal( and not the only ones) and the steak dishes were... Had dinner at this restaurant and discovered ownership has changed since I visited Walla Walla one year ago. The food was delicious and the presentation lovely. The swordfish was amazing!

We come to Walla Walla often and have eaten at this restaurant many times but never under this new owner/chef. We were looking forward to a great meal as we have experienced in the past but it didn't happen. Reservations for 8 at 7pm on May 1st were made March 19th, 7 weeks ahead. All 8 arrived on time and... Ok so I am not going to remember the names of the dishes and I'll be close. I had the Wild Shrimp and Holy Trinity Grits. The shrimp were large and perfectly cooked. Tender yet fully cooked and burst with flavor when you bit into it. The Holy Trinity Sauce could have used a bit more heat and it was... More

Don't hesitate...this place is wonderful! Nice intimate ambiance followed by beautiful food. Composition was excellent. The food was very sophisticated. The dessert was a wonderful top off to a great evening.

We are Seattlelites and had a great weekend in Walla Walla visiting numerous wineries. For dinner on Saturday night, the four of us went to South Fork Grille. We heard there was a new chef in the past year so we were curious. I ordered something a little different for me and that was the meatloaf special. All I have... More

Our annual trip to Walla Walla wine country to celebrate 2 birthdays with friends. We were looking for a restaurant for dinner that we had yet to go to and came across South Fork Grill. At first, the reviews looked less than promising but after a more in depth look, it was apparent that the restaurant had closed and then... More

One of Walla Walla's best options for really good, freshly prepared meals. The new owner/chef has a talent for combining great flavors and seasonings. The soups and salads are amazing too. And save room for dessert, because they have some great treats. Many of the servers have been here a long time, and they are fantastic. You can spend more... More
