Apple Pancake is a must!

We took my daughter to breakfast before we left town. We left our hungry college student with leftover apple pancake to feed her for a week!

I've been here a few times before for breakfast, and its amazing as ever but lunch is my favorite meal of the day and my most recent trip to Walla Walla I was able to make it in for lunch and it did not disappoint! I had the turkey & avocado sandwich on sourdough bread. It was one of the... More

Great food, great service, awesome atmosphere, really nice old cafe vibe. Food is well prepared. Try the apple pancake, but only if you're truly hungry.

Started with delicious hot chocolate, with mint for the holidays. Ordered biscuit and gravy... Rosemary adds unique flavor, and biscuit was great, and scrambled eggs were fluffy and light. The next table had an order of blueberry French toast that looked delicious. Ordered those also, and realized when it was delivered, it was a half portion. Portions are Big! The... More

I had the pumpkin pancake special: I make these myself from my own squash puree, so am very picky about the ones in restaurants. these were cakey and flavorful and LARGE. the bacon was crispy as I asked for. great service.

Let's see, what's great about this place? Thick sliced bacon, yummy hand cut hash browns, delicious sourdough pancakes (best with real maple syrup and a pinch of salt), fresh orange juice... I could go on, but you get the gist. Tip- on weekend mornings be prepared to wait- esp with large parties. You can call ahead and get your name... More

Maple Counter Cafe serves up a great breakfast from a huge selection menu. They also serve lunch items but breakfast is the best!

Expected great given the crowds and the wait. The staff was attentive, the good selection extensive, but the overall value and flavor were just OK. Actually preferred Bacon and Eggs, and that place wasn't as good as done I've been to. Surprised so many praise the pancakes -- they were just pancakes, nothing special.

Went here with a friend for breakfast and with the 20 minute wait, I was hoping for some outstanding service and food! What I received however, was below average service with overpriced food. I was hoping to enjoy just a classic breakfast of eggs, potatoes, breakfast meat,, and toast, but was turned away by the price tag of almost $15!... More

We arrived in Walla Walla at 1PM and immediately went to The Maple Counter for lunch. Ordered breakfast - eggs and buttermilk pancakes with maple syrup - what can be better!
