#1 for a reason...

All I can say is if you are in Walla Walla don't miss The Maple Counter. The food will be outstanding and it will be more than you can eat. The only reason not to share is so that you can try more than one item on the menu

I am sure this restaurant is mostly good, but we were there a few days ago and I ordered classic eggs benedict; my husband ordered the cajun chicken sandwich, which he said was very good. I had a mimosa, which was also very good. However, when my lunch arrived, the eggs benedict had been liberally, and mistakenly, sprinkled with dried... More

I apologize about our mistake of topping your Eggs Benedict with the wrong garnish while you were dining with us. When we make a mistake, our policy is to either re-make your meal or buy it depending on the situation. I'm glad to hear your server had a new Eggs Benedict made up quickly, and that the kitchen prioritized it... More

Wow, great little place full of charm in the heart of Walla Walla. Leilani was our server and she was absolutely wonderful. I ordered the blueberry french toast with a side of bacon. I asked for extra crispy bacon and she "warned" me that it would add a few more minutes to our wait for food. Not ten minutes later... More

Boy, do they use butter. Eggs cooked in clarified butter. Good food, not a chain. The hash was good and service was great. It's nice eating at a comfortable place. I'd eat there again, but my wife doesn't like butter to be the centerpiece of cooking.

It's always a tough decision of where to eat when there are so many good restaurants around. Walking into the Maple Counter Café I knew we made the right decision. We were greeted so warmly by the nice ladies at the front desk and were quickly shown to our table. It was difficult to decide what to eat with such... More

This is the third time I have eaten here. The food, service and decor was excellent all three times. Of all the wonderful food my two favorite's were the huge apple pancake and the fruit blintzes. The memosas and wonderful coffee.

This was highly recommended to us by someone. They were absolutely right - the best place for a breakfast. AND you can get breakfast all day here! My hubby had the breakfast special, french toast with lemon curd and raspberry sauce. He loved it. I had the Eggs Nicole, scrambled eggs with spinach and other veggies over a croissant with... More

I had breakfast there yesterday morning. My brother lives in Walla Walla and I stayed the night with him as I was passing through on business. He recommended we do breakfast at the Maple Counter, but said there would probably be a line. We got there about 8AM and no line at all. I don't know if we just lucked... More

the food is great, but the wait is long, especially if one of the colleges has something going on that weekend. The portions are huge so plan on sharing or bringing a box home with you. But you won't need lunch!

You can't beat Maple Counter's breakfast. ..they are pricy, but if you want a huge, tasty start to your day, it's the place to go. Weekends they ONLY serve breakfast (and it can be a long wait to get in), but during the week they have standard lunch fare as well. Recommended!
