We had a group of 9 including one paraplegic in a motorized chair. The service is pleasant and attentive, plenty of good bold coffee. But lots of flies, unusual for indoor restaurant. My wife and I had the Almond Pancakes with fresh blackberries and a side of bacon, one of the tastiest breakfasts I have had. Generous too considering we... More

We visit Walla Walla twice a year for wine tastings, we always make sure to visit the Maple Counter at least once! We just love the whole thing , great service , great food, different options on the food , it's something we look forward to all year. Half the fun of getting to resist here is talking about what... An interesting setting for fabulous food. Go hungry. Split a meal. Take a 'doggy bag' home. Actually there are very nicely made boxes for leftovers. The omelets are so fluffy! Many different egg dishes from which to choose your pleasure. The pancakes are fabulous and can be adjusted to your your preferences. The service was supure and they were chatty... More

Porridge with fresh berries and apples was phenomenal, more than enough for two to share. It was superior to what is normally served. I'd go back in a heartbeat just to have it again. Husband's pancakes were nothing special but he raved about the awesome bacon.

This place is NOT WORTH 5 stars. Let me put this into perspective for you. We're from Seattle and have plenty of these breakfast type places. If you're from somewhere with just IHOP, I could see why this would be a 5 star restaurant. Anyway, we got here at around 12:30 on a Sunday and still had to wait 30... More

Thank you for your review and feedback. Our Apple Pancake is not so much a Cinnamon Roll as it is a "souffle-style" pancake, hence the custard texture. It is definitely on the large size, but we try to warn our customers by mentioning in the menu that it is over 3 inches tall. There is often a wait on the... More

Perfect place for hungry students! Delicious and hearty breakfasts are their specialty. At our table both sweet and savory dishes were ordered, and all were perfect. Prices might cause sticker shock but you can count on leftovers. The apple pancake was a cinnamon delight.

Everything about this place is first rate. This is one of the few individually owned establishments that I've seen where the attention to detail, decor, food, and service match and exceed the large successful chain restaurants. Go here and God Bless America.

I went to the Maple Counter Cafe for breakfast upon a recommendation of friends who live in Kennewick. There were so many wonderful selections on the menu that I had to seek advice from both our hostess and our server, Bri, who enthusiastically explained many of the items and which were their favorites.I selected the California Eggs Benedict with avocado... Thought we would start our day of wine touring with a good meal and had one of our family members recommend the Maple Counter Café. We have traveled the world and I can promise you it was one of the best breakfasts we have eaten plus 5 star service. Staff is beyond excellent! Food excellent! We live 50 miles away,... More

One of the best breakfast places in the area. My husband and I have gone here a few times and it is always wonderful. We live in Pendleton and will make the hour drive because they are the best breakfast near us! I have the Dutch Baby every time and it is perfect. Last time I had a fresh squeezed... More
