Unexpected Treat

I had breakfast there yesterday morning. My brother lives in Walla Walla and I stayed the night with him as I was passing through on business. He recommended we do breakfast at the Maple Counter, but said there would probably be a line. We got there about 8AM and no line at all. I don't know if... read more

the food is great, but the wait is long, especially if one of the colleges has something going on that weekend. The portions are huge so plan on sharing or bringing a box home with you. But you won't need lunch!

You can't beat Maple Counter's breakfast. ..they are pricy, but if you want a huge, tasty start to your day, it's the place to go. Weekends they ONLY serve breakfast (and it can be a long wait to get in), but during the week they have standard lunch fare as well. Recommended!

If you have the time it's worth the wait. If you go on a Saturday or Sunday it's breakfast only. But be sure to put your name on the list and don't mention that your whole group isn't present. They won't seat you until the whole party is there😒. I understand their point of view, it slows down the amount... More

Very tasty food, and quantities are huge. Next time, we will split breakfast. I had the quiche with bacon. Quite tasty, and very filling, having a fairly dense crust.

Unique and traditional breakfast fare with an upper scale presentation. A rather lengthy menu, but take the time to read it..you will find something for everyone. The decor is more homey than high end, but very clean and comfortable. Its a "must do" in Walla Walla.

This is a great place to get a major breakfast in Walla Walla. The size of the portions is gigantic and the price for them is a really good deal. We take any out of town visitors to the maple counter anytime we have breakfast. The building is fun to look at also, lots of nice exposed wood and skylights.... More

Always come here when in town. Best breakfast food I've ever had! Pancakes, bacon and eggs are out of this world.

We had breakfast on a Sunday here and we must have gotten lucky and beat the rush because by the time we left there were people everywhere waiting to be seated. Lots of families that looked more like locals than tourists. The decor is like you're eating at grandma's house but there were lots of choices (both savory and sweet),... More

The Maple Counter is probably the best breakfast in Walla Walla; the problem is that everyone seems to know that. It wouldn't be so much of an issue if they took reservations, but they don't. The best you can possibly hope for is to call before you drop in and "put yourself on the list." Do not ask to reserve... More
