We were staying at the Marcus Whitman Hotel and walked to the Maple Counter Cafe. We loved it! Staff so friendly even though it is very busy. The food was outstanding. It has an almost festive feel. Get there early or you will have to wait in line

I had read great reviews on The Maple Counter Cafe before our stop in Walla Walla. We stopped for a late lunch at The Maple and it was all it was reported to be. I had a huge swiss mushroom burger, it was absolutely the best swiss mushroom burger I have ever eaten, cooked to perfection and covered in swiss... More

Super nice place, very attractive, and great food! A long wait on weekends but worth it. The buckwheat pancakes and bacon were the best ever.

We went to breakfast at The Maple counter Cafe to celebrate and event and found there was a good reason we have seen lines outside so many times. We found their verbiage "Gourmet Breakfast" to be in no way an overstatement. We were also very impressed with the wait staff.

All the food was flavorful and well prepared. Fresh ingredients, a cute atmosphere, great service, and reasonable prices were all a plus.

I'm so glad we found Maple Counter Cafe during a recent trip to Walla Walla. My friends and I had breakfast there around 10:30 on a Saturday morning. We called ahead while walking there from the nearby college campus and were seated within 15 minutes of arriving...pretty quickly for a group of seven on a weekend. The atmosphere was kind... More

We had a group of 9 including one paraplegic in a motorized chair. The service is pleasant and attentive, plenty of good bold coffee. But lots of flies, unusual for indoor restaurant. My wife and I had the Almond Pancakes with fresh blackberries and a side of bacon, one of the tastiest breakfasts I have had. Generous too considering we... More

Our huge apology for the flies! Despite our air curtain at the backdoor and numerous fly lights, we just can't seem to get rid of every last fly. September is the worst month for flies in the Walla Walla area--join us again in a few weeks and they should all be gone! More

We visit Walla Walla twice a year for wine tastings, we always make sure to visit the Maple Counter at least once! We just love the whole thing , great service , great food, different options on the food , it's something we look forward to all year. Half the fun of getting to resist here is talking about what... An interesting setting for fabulous food. Go hungry. Split a meal. Take a 'doggy bag' home. Actually there are very nicely made boxes for leftovers. The omelets are so fluffy! Many different egg dishes from which to choose your pleasure. The pancakes are fabulous and can be adjusted to your your preferences. The service was supure and they were chatty... More

Porridge with fresh berries and apples was phenomenal, more than enough for two to share. It was superior to what is normally served. I'd go back in a heartbeat just to have it again. Husband's pancakes were nothing special but he raved about the awesome bacon.
