Obviously a local favorite

We had breakfast on a Sunday here and we must have gotten lucky and beat the rush because by the time we left there were people everywhere waiting to be seated. The Maple Counter is probably the best breakfast in Walla Walla; the problem is that everyone seems to know that. It wouldn't be so much of an issue if they took reservations, but they don't. The best you can possibly hope for is to call before you drop in and "put yourself on the list." Do not ask to reserve... More

Almost every trip to Walla Walla includes a Sunday morning visit to The Maple Counter. Just get there early (before 9:00) otherwise, your wait will exceed an hour. Every option is a treat, whether you opt for the Pancakes or Eggs and such. Considering the type of preparations this place does, the wait is very acceptable. Enjoy.

We always eat here when we are in town, mainly for breakfast. The service is fast and friendly, the food really really fresh and quick. It's not the least expensive place I've ever eaten at , but it's a treat ! I had the mushrooms omelette delicious, cindy the strawberry granola pancakes , both very good! See ya in 6... More

I have been here a few times and finally I actually ate lunch for lunch instead of breakfast. (Their breakfast dishes are SO good!) no matter what you order you gay a lot of food, I almost always recommend sharing so all that yummy goodness does not go to waste. It was busy but service was quick and food was... More

From the outside, it did not look busy. Once we got inside, it was nearly full, which was a good sign. Were seated promptly, given menus and water, and our orders were taken in good order. The food did not take an unacceptable length of time to be prepared and served, and everything was delicious. The one thing I noted... More

We came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning, and the place was a mob scene! We put our name in a wandered around town for a bit, and enjoyed the beautiful day. When we got back we were seated quickly by the very friendly staff. The portions were enormous, but very good. This is a very informal spot, and... More

We decided to go here based on TA reviews. We were not disappointed. We all had egg based dishes. Eggs Benedict, eggs Nicole, and Garden Scramble. All were very good. We ordered a side of bacon that was great - thick with a nice smokey flavor. Service was great. We went about 7:45 on Sunday morning and did not wait... More

Its not your standard breakfast menu. They serve a apple type pancake ( forgot the proper name) that is so good. Its a popular place so get there early. It is very busy, so its not a quiet place, but the prices are good, portions are large, and the service is great.
