Based on numerous recommendations from locals, we booked a table at T Maccarone's for dinner and it was delightful. It's not your typical Italian restaurant - as the boss pointed out (when asked how an Italian restaurant bar can not have sambuca), it's an "Italian-inspired bistro." That omission aside, we really enjoyed the heirloom tomato salad (big chunks of tomato... More

Wasn't sure what to expect. Let me tell you we were pleasantly surprised. We had the *Pappardelle alla bolognese, it was outstanding. The best I ever had. We liked it so much we went back another night. We had the tenderloin which was equally good. The service was very good. Nice friendly waiters. I would recommend this resturant if you... More

Our reservation was made several weeks out and the restaurant called the day of the reservation to confirm. We were seated quickly, but at a booth for four; our reservation was for 5. It was too tight for comfort. We were then ignored for 15+ minutes, zero contact. We finally "waved down" a waiter and asked for service. He apologized,... More

We visited this restaurant on the recommendation of local friends and we're glad we tried it. It was very busy so we sat at the bar where we had a few drinks and dinner (and we love to sit at bars). The drinks were strong and we enjoyed a tasty meal while chatting with newly found friends sitting next to... More

We arrived a few minutes before our reservation time and understood when we had to wait for a table. We were kept waiting an additional five minutes even though we could see that there were empty tables inside. There was some explanation about how "our" table still had guests in it but they could seat us at a different table.... More

Excellent meal. The homemade pasta is delicious. We had the sausage pasta and the beef and pork ragout. Both were outstanding. We also shared heirloom tomato salad that was very fresh and excellent. We paired the meal with very reasonable Montalcino D Abruzzo. Very friendly and attentive waiter.

We ended up eating here three times for lunch, specifically for the delicious dish of mussels in green curry, coconut milk and shaved bok choy. The first time we split an order (among other things), but the other two times we selfishly got our own. Singularly the best item we ate on our vacation. Super friendly staff too. Real engaging... Read the reviews and couldn't wait to get a fork in my hand! This lil restaurant could thrive in any big city. Our waiter was a blast too. The only chink in the armor was no blue cheese olives for our martinis. I'll get over it...

This is a great place, great service and fantastic food. We had the tomato bisque and prawns as starts. The main dishes were the parpadelle Bolognese and the tagleattele with Italian sausage and pesto. Both dishes were rich, unique, sweet and outstanding. Great place!

Five of us had dinner at T. Maccarones. The food was good. Two of us had the beet salad and said it was very good. I ordered the lamb. The waiter told me it might be more like pulled pork, but I got it anyway. Not my favorite way to eat lamb, but not his fault. Had a nice bottle... More
