Fantastic but fussy

We called for reservations and received a beautiful table at the window. The food was REALLY good and seasonal. The waiter was VERY knowledgeable about wine...maybe just a bit too knowledgeable as it took a couple of discussions and trips to the cellar to decide on a wine for our food, which... read more

We stopped in for lunch on a Thursday and sat at the counter because all the tables were full. The food was fresh, well prepared, and extremely good. Although it was busy, the staff were very helpful in navigating the French country cuisine menu. There are about a dozen wines to choose from or you can select a bottle from... More

We went with friends for dinner, at 5:30 pm. Thankfully, the weather was just warm enough to eat outside, with blankets. Indoors, the restaurant was extremely noisy ( wood floors, very high ceilings) with many different small children racing up and down the main aisle screaming/ darting in and around tables etc. Granted, that wasn't the restaurant's fault, but they... Met some friends for dinner - they're favorite place. Server was extremely knowledgeable about wines, specials, cheeses, food origins - absolutely entertaining. We chose the meat and cheese platter and finished every bite. If we hadn't been so full we would have ordered the fondue we watched go to another table. Definitely a place you want to go and enjoy... A great foodie haven in Walla Walla, this place perfectly caps a long day of wine tasting. Very nice dining room superbly managed by a professional staff. A great menu with well prepared continental style food. A nice experience for my entire family. Recommend.

We had a spontaneous overnight trip to the Walla Walla wine region of Washington, and we're looking for a nice dinner to compliment our day. This place was highly recommended. When we arrived, it was packed. The hostess was very kind and made a way for us to be seated outside. The food was amazing, as described by others. Do... More

We wound up in Walla Walla on a very busy wine touring weekend w. no reservations. We were offered a seat at the bar and had a delicious and convivial dinner with wine by the glass. I had boulliabaise, which I love. Tough part about preparing that dish is that all the various seafoods cook at different rates so often... More

I don't need or want fancy and overdone. What I want is great food and service. I got both here. We were walk ins and welcomed by the hostess as if we had a reservation. Once seated we were promptly greeted by our server and dinner was on. The French Onion soup was great and the Verte salad was outstanding.... More
