We wound up in Walla Walla on a very busy wine touring weekend w. no reservations. We were offered a seat at the bar and had a delicious and convivial dinner with wine by the glass. I had boulliabaise, which I love. Tough part about preparing that dish is that all the various seafoods cook at different rates so often... More

I don't need or want fancy and overdone. What I want is great food and service. I got both here. We were walk ins and welcomed by the hostess as if we had a reservation. Once seated we were promptly greeted by our server and dinner was on. The French Onion soup was great and the Verte salad was outstanding.... More

We enjoyed the margarita pizza and a Caesar salad. Both were well prepared and simply delicious. I loved the char on the pizza crust from the oven. The service was good, even though it was a busy weekend evening. Reservations are recommended as they are busy. Pricing is really reasonable for the quality.

We arrived late on a Friday night without reservations. They fit us in (without disdain!), we had lovely wine and great food. The service was very good, causal atmosphere but friendly.

We had a family birthday dinner today. The food was good for the area. It was special but not overwhelming. The escargot had too much parley but was good. The French onion soup was returned and refunded. The cheese sampler tray was top notch. Definitely a repeat item. For dessert we did both the crème brulee with real vanilla bean... More

Casual dining with gustatory authenticity, casual atmosphere, friendly, efficient service and an amazing wine list. This is the only venue I've encountered where diners have been asked to go up and choose exactly the wine they want from a massive shelf ordered by type. Ate at the bar, shared a starter and followed with a daily special appetizer (smoked mackerel... More

On advice from our Innkeeper we sat at the counter. Love being able to see the kitchen! Our server explained the specials and highlighted several other dishes. We chose a bottle of Prosecco (nice change from the big reds we had been tasting all day!) to start. We split a "side salad" which is a dinner plate full of 5... More

This restaurant is lovely and my partner and I have dined here at least a dozen times. I've never had a bad dish here, everything is delicious: the steak and frites/fries (hand-cut); the mussels; the pate (can't find anything like it except in France); the oysters (very fresh); the soups (very creative); the cheeses and charcuterie...Oh, just writing about it... We stayed in Walla Walla for one night and walked from our hoetl to this restaurant. It was highly recommended by the hotel staff and people who who worked in the local winery tasting rooms. The service was very attentive and polite. The service was overall excellent. The food was good, but I felt it was rather bland in taste.... More
