I am glad I didn't leave

This is a rather noisy restaurant! I was ready to leave when Fay, our server noticed my chagrin. She said give me a few minutes and I will seat you outside. What a difference! The frites as an appetizer were spectacular, the blini very good and the bouillabaisse outstanding. A very mediocre... read more

We called for reservations, during open hours, three days in advance (Saturday). Recording finally picked up. Left specific message with date, time, etc. Later, we got a message from them saying they had plenty of availability and gave us two times for the Tuesday reservation, one was the time we requested. They said to pick the time we wanted and... More

This was our second time having dinner at Brasserie Four and I would absolutely recommend making a reservation. No matter what time of year we visit the dinner hour is aways bustling. The food is fresh and quite delicious however, on this particular visit the service was seriously lacking. We were seated right away however it was another 10 minutes... More

What a wonderful meal! Four of us ate escargot, olives, mussels, chicken, bouillabaise, and the hanger steak plus dessert. They offer a wonderful selection of wines and we were not disappointed. The service was excellent. The only reason this restaurant doesn't get a 5 is the noise level made a conversation challenging.

The food is fresh and delicious. My husband and I love the wine selection. The hangar steak is delicious. Have the French Fries they are not like any other you've ever had. We've never had a bad meal here.

I didn't expect to find anything worth reviewing in this small town in the middle of nowhere, even if it is a wine town. I was delighted to be surprised by this lovely French restaurant. Everything we had was delicious, well prepared, and beautifully presented. The cheese plate, especially, was outstanding. I also appreciated the service, low noise level, and... More

Three of us had dinner here a couple of weeks ago ~ a Saturday night. Our dining choices ~ mussels and boulliabaisse ~ were absolutely perfect. I don't know what spice the chef puts into the "spicy tomato broth" for the mussels but it was so delicious. We had a bottle of Vouvray that perfectly balanced out the spiciness of... More

This is a cozy restaurant. The food is the best. You can dine outside or inside. The ivory salmon special was to die for and cooked to perfection. Great wine list. The mussels in white wine and pernod were some of the best I have ever had. The charcuterie plate was presented beautifully and was plenty for 4 people. Staff... More

Went here with local friends, my husband had their Trout special and I had thir seared Albacore Tuna with Tapenade. We also had a Cesear Salad that split three ways which was plenty as a side, I am so glad that we split one! Decor of restaurant is styled more on the functional industrial look, steel bar stools with no... More
