Excellent lunch place.

This was recommended to us by a resident of Vicksburg so we went after visiting the national Military Park and had a really good home cooked lunch. This small diner furnished in a homely style was very welcoming as we asked if we could share a sandwich as we were not very hungry and there was no... read more

The menu is fresh and exciting with a different special each day prepared by order. I have not had a single item that was not full of flavor and the price is great! Sally has delicious deserts and is warm and inviting. If you want a extra special dining experience make reservations for the Monday night dinner! Excellent!

Love this place! It's quiet, charming, with hanging art, and the best salad I've ever had! It's covered with fresh fruit, topped with blackened chicken, and the ginger dressing is the best dressing ever!!!! You're met with friendly faces the moment you walk in the door, which lasts until you walk out! Whatever you order...salad, soup, gumbo, sandwiches, quiche...you name... More

While visiting the battlefield sites, we got hungry. Unfortunately the place we were directed to was closed on Tuesday. A kind gentleman working in his yard recommended Main Street Market. WOW!! Unique salad and dressing was so yummy we wanted to lick the bowl. Special of the day was very good - homestyle chicken, stuffed pasta and zucchini. Even the... More

Charming older home converted to a cute restaurant. Excellent food, pleasant staff, fast service. We were there for lunch and were glad that we arrived early; on a Friday it was quite busy. We both had blackened chicken which was moist and tender. The gumbo and split pea soup were tasty. The lemon chess pie was good, but was probably... More

I had high hopes for this place because it's the type of establishment we usually love. But, there was noting great about the service here, the cesar salad was as bland as I've ever had, the soup was average, and the rolls tasted like they had been sitting out for an hour. The sweet tea was sub-par for Mississippi, and... More

We found this place during our stay in July and stopped in. It was really - really neat and we were glad we did!

We tried to get a table at the Anchusa, but it was closed for a private function. So ate here instead, it was a really good taste of Southern home cooking, something we do not get a lot of back in the UK. We loved the charm of the place and attentive service. They don't have a liquor license so... More

My girlfriend and I loved shopping at this market! Full of many great items from vintage to trendy. Lots of jewelry and more! We both made several purchases. The owner was delightful and patient showing us jewelry from her extensive jewelry counter. She also offered dining suggestions and places to shop. Felt good about spending $$$ here. Hope to return.... More

This is a house that has been converted into a restaurant. It was a little hard to find, but I really liked the atmosphere. It had great southern charm. We had lunch and it was good. I was a little disappointed in the service. We weren't greeted upon arrival and I was wondering if anyone would ever show us to... More
