My husband and I have been talking about having a really good fried chicken dinner for two weeks as we have cruised through the South. I am convinced that we found the best place to meet our cravings! We stopped for lunch and found the restaurant to be absolutely lovely. Our server, Charles B., was super courteous and prompt. We... We had the shrimp salad stuffed tomatoes with olive sandwiches and it was amazing. We finished it off with the most heavenly pecan pie I've ever eaten! The restaurant is in an old Victorian home with tables in many different rooms. It's a great atmosphere for a quiet lunch or a romantic dinner. The only reason they don't get 5... More

We went there based on Trip Advisor (TA I love you :) for the "award winning" famous fried chicken and he said if there is such an award, they should win. Be aware, if you order all white meat, there is an pretty stout upcharge, but they did mention it. I had the crab cakes which were wonderful as well.... More

My husband and I had dinner here and their fried chicken was amazing! We had the crab cakes for an app and they were delicious as well! I loved the character of the building and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommend and hope we get to return!

My wife and I headed to Walnut Hills off the back of a few reviews. The staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered the ribs and southern fried chicken. Wow... They were fantastic! We shared our plates as we do when we travel and to be honest, I wanted the ribs all to myself... And the chicken! We had a... More

We went there on a Monday night the town was dead but this restaurant saved our day. There cat fish was OK but I think mainly because it's cat fish. But there fried chicken was to damn for.

Being new to this restaurant, we didn't find out about the roundtable option till after we had ordered, this is a round table with all you... More

Last night Walnut Hills was clicking on all cylinders. Crab cakes tasted like ones I have paid three times as much for in fancier places. Fried chicken and onion rings cooked to perfection and waitress was wonderful. My husband loved the chicken piccata special. Will be back again.

Restaurant was recommended by our hotel. We walked right in and greeted with southern hospitality. My wife had the fried chicken which she described as very tender and juicy. I had one of the specials, chicken piccata with pasta that filled me up quickly. Our tea glasses never ran low and the chef came around to make sure that we... More
