A little more than I usually pay for a latte, but the wonderful flavor and creamy texture to the kona non-fat latte was worth it. One of the best-made lattes I've had anywhere. Friendly service, pleasant space. No wait mid-afternoon on a Monday. Baristas and equipment matter, and this place appears... read more

As a former espresso business owner it is very hard to find good espresso drinks. How one foams the milk is of utmost importance as well as many other factors to great drink making. When I tried thei nonfat cappuccino I knew that I had found a hidden gem. It is and should be like drinking liquid silk. Simply the... More

I am from the right coast of America but I have been lucky to visit Hawaii several times in the past 6 months, and I have gotten to visit this little piece of paradise while here on business. I have sampled local ( not chain) coffee houses across the U.S. and I can say unequivocally this is the happiest little... More

How does a small independent coffee shop survive in the downtown business district with two Starbucks and 14 other coffee shops within 2 blocks? By serving only locally grown Hawaiian coffees that they roast right on the premises and serve by real baristas. Located between King and Merchant Streets, right behind the Bank of Hawaii main office on the pedestrian... More

I like my breve coffee and this is the only place I can get them. Very tasty and strong, and I love their foam creations of flowers, leaves, hearts, etc. It just adds a little specialness to my drink. I'm always taking a pic of it and loading it onto Facebook. Their breakfast items like the ham/cheese croissants and the... More

Leave the waikiki scene for a while and experience what downtown Honolulu has to offer. This is the classy district, the centre of the financial hub, the forgotten core with the original Honolulu Macy's department store and Chinatown and so many neat places where deals are to be found. You can get here a number of ways, just minutes by... More
