French a Toast will blow your mind.

My wife, 2 kids (15 months and 3.5 years old), and I are trying this thing to go to a new breakfast place on Sunday mornings. So far this place has the best French toast I've EVER HAD. We got it with blueberries, bananas and strawberries. I also ordered a waffle with the same toppings. It was good... read more

I've eaten here a couple of times and while it's good it's definitely not great and not really worth the wait. The long line is because the cafe is promoted in some Japanese guides to Oahu so loads of Japanese tourists come up from Waikiki to eat here. Can't blame them for that but as they do make this local... More

Always a line here, but worth the wait and when you do get seated the first thing you are told by the smiling waitress "thank you so much for waiting, we are so happy you want to eat here today" So many restaurants could learn from this philosophy! But enough of that, all that needs to be added is that... More

We wanted to eat where the locals have breakfast. I had an excellent breakfast burrito and my spouse had the typical breakfast but he said it was made with love. We arrived at 7:30 and we were happy we did because there was a wait right after us.

A very accommodating place, where the people have strived to serve things the way that I like it. Turkey Bacon available, and generous portions make this a place that is worth while! It is a great place to hang with locals who love the place . We had the opportunity to met with the owner and talk with her about... More

GET UP THERES ADVENTURE OR EXPLORATION WAITING FOR YOU...but you have to wait in line for breakfast. Unless you are in a hotel room and with a partner that cooks like me on chafing up gourmet with cheap recipes (but waste the ingredients at the end of the trip). WAKE UP AND FIND PARKING. I LOVE Kaila and so does... More

One of the best restaurants I've been to in Hawaii. Gourmet style food with a small cafe feel. Not a lot of seating but its definitely worth any wait. Best omelet I've had ever.

I'm not a big fan of waffles but loved these. They were so tasty and crunchy. All the dishes are plated nicely and so appetizing. Great Sevice and very busy. I will go back.

Googled breakfast spots in Oahu and Cafe Kaila ranked pretty well. When we pulled up, we saw a line out the door - that looks like a good sign. The service is very friendly even if the kitchen is slow; it's not as though they are executing a complicated menu. The food is good, though not to the extent that... More

We were all pleasantly surprised with our breakfasts! Huge breakfast wraps, fresh fruit, strong coffee! Very welcoming & warm atmosphere. We would definitely visit again/ recommend it to others!
