We had the $100 tasting menu & were very disappointed. It was all seafood despite our waiter telling us it included beef. The cold dishes were refrigerator cold & all drowning in citrus sauces. We live in Japan & don't feel this was authentic food or worth the price.

This is great place to have a meal whilst enjoying the sun and the surf. Tucked away on a side street -it is worth finding. We had visited other venues but this one has a quality fine dining atmosphere but in a relax casual fashion. The food is a fusion of Japanese and Western - we had the degustation and... More

I found Nobu Honolulu on trip advisor - and was hesitant to go since I hadn't liked Nobu NYC. Here the fish is so fresh and the preparations incredibly inventive. They have a stellar collection of saki as well. Each time we go (more than 6 times now), we let the wait staff choose our meal and we've been surprised... More

IN short: the food and the service is top notch. The price is more our less matching this. I would recommend the place any day, but be prepared the show the money. Both myself and my wife loved the tempura rolls and their signature crab dish is amazing. Service was nice and attentive. The only reason it's not 5 star... More

We did the degustation menu and it was absolutely worth it. The food was great quality. Atmosphere of the restaurant is funky but simple and casual at the same time. This goes for most places in honolulu. Service was great. Had a super night.

We spotted this place only because there was a big line up out the front. We decided to try it at lunchtime when the wait isn't so long. You grab a tray and pick of the menu on the walls . You get served as you walk around. It is Ramon style noodles with the best Tempura prawns I have... More

Nobu is all about presentation and attitude. While what do remember touching my tongue was generally fresh and delicious the "family style" portions are so small that you will get a spoonful of each entree and leave hungry. Given the damage done to your credit card to eat here, it's really not worth it. You'll leave searching for a burger... More

Nobu always lives up to its wonderful reputation. Nobu waikiki has the most beautiful sashimi I think I have ever had! The staff was awesome! The food was unbelievable as usual. That black cod is to die for! (We came to Hawaii from Vegas. In Vegas, we went to Nobu at the Caesar's and had the tuna sashimi. The pieces... More

This was our last night special meal. It was stunning: but came out at $150 US a head for 10 people, 6 courses, 3 shared desserts, 2 beers,1 bottle of wine, and 1 serve of Sake between 3 of us. The food was outstanding: just go with a deep wallet.

Our hotel concierge (Halekulani) booked a table for two for us tonight, Sunday, August 17, for our dinner. We arrived at 8.20 pm and were asked to order a drink and a few minutes later were taken to “our table” which was in the dead corner of the red private room. We were not pleased and insisted and argued with... More
