Nobu is all about presentation and attitude. While what do remember touching my tongue was generally fresh and delicious the "family style" portions are so small that you will get a spoonful of each entree and leave hungry. Given the damage done to your credit card to eat here, it's really not worth it. You'll leave searching for a burger... More

Nobu always lives up to its wonderful reputation. Nobu waikiki has the most beautiful sashimi I think I have ever had! The staff was awesome! The food was unbelievable as usual. That black cod is to die for! (We came to Hawaii from Vegas. In Vegas, we went to Nobu at the Caesar's and had the tuna sashimi. The pieces... More

This was our last night special meal. It was stunning: but came out at $150 US a head for 10 people, 6 courses, 3 shared desserts, 2 beers,1 bottle of wine, and 1 serve of Sake between 3 of us. The food was outstanding: just go with a deep wallet.

Our hotel concierge (Halekulani) booked a table for two for us tonight, Sunday, August 17, for our dinner. We arrived at 8.20 pm and were asked to order a drink and a few minutes later were taken to “our table” which was in the dead corner of the red private room. We were not pleased and insisted and argued with... More

Nobu is know for it's unique combinations of infused flavored. This visit was no exception. Try the braised 48 hr ribs....amazing. Order shared plate that way you can try a number if different items. Our waitress was amazing and very knowledgeable with menu items and sake recommendations.

I enjoy it in NYC and I enjoyed it in Waikiki. Went twice for dinner while visiting HI. The hostess was a bit uppity on our first visit, second visit the hostess (different gal) was welcoming. You can never go wrong at Nobu!

If you truly appreciate Japanese food, you will be disappointed with Nobu. Better dining experiences are to be found at other places in Honolulu but you have to know where to go and what to order. I guess that's why people need these social media sites to find them.

This restaurant offered tasty japanese fusion cuisine. Do not go there if what you need is basic japanese cuisine. They use some local fish too, but not with the same result as with the tradicional sushi/sashimi fishes. It is likely overpriced, but this did not spoil the experience.

This restaurant is fabulous! We loved the food and the atmosphere and the staff were very helpful. Ask for their signature dishes and you'll be blown away xx

This restaurant was amazing - we arrived with a large group and they were so polite and welcoming . All dishes were divine - sashimi to die for, the fish was so fresh it has spoilt all future sashimi experiences. Very cool minimalist Devore and excellent service - my friend Danny took us there and he was right ... He... More
