Always a wonderful place after a day on the beach. Salads are great and crisp BUT my one suggestion is to BRING BACK THE CRAB CAKES! Please. The ambiance is wonderful. Service is impeccable. We love Roy's in so many cities. Hawaii is just even more perfect!

Roy's is consistently good between locations. We are fans of this restaurant from the Hawaii Kai location to the Big Island. You can't beat the fresh fish to the decadent chocolate soufflé. Staff is always friendly and attentive from the hostess to your server. Give it a try and you'll keep returning like we do..

My husband and I were recently here on our honeymoon. My boss bought us a dinner at Roy's because he had heard great reviews. We were a bit apprehensive about going knowing we were not picking up the tab and concerned that we would be pushed to the corner being a young couple. However this was not the case. We... More

Dined here last week and ordered the selection platter which had 3 different types of fish. I am a seafood lover and love experiencing new and wonderful seafood. Well OMG this did not disappoint. It was fabulous. Everything was perfect including the wine.

We had the hor's fish sampler, the mahi mahi entree, and the triple fish entrée. The sauces are out of this world. Totally enjoyable. Not inexpensive - with a couple drinks you can hit $80+ per person. Dining area was a little loud (some boisterous tables), but not annoying.

Highly enjoyable experience - our 'go to' restaurant whenever we are in Waikiki. They always manage to fit us in, and the service is fast, friendly and spot on. We love the food too - always fresh and delicious with interesting flavours that aren't too strange. The dining room isn't flash but it's relatively nice and it makes for an... More

The owner is one of the originators of Asian/pacific/western fusion cooking. Magnificent blends of seafood with Asian flavors. 4th time there, will always go back as the Freshness and glamours are first class

My boyfriend and I went here on a recommendation from local tour guides and the popularity of "Roy's Waikiki." He's a vegetarian and got the Kamuela tomato salad (sooooooo good) and tofu agadashi which he liked. The waiter was very attentive and made sure he mentioned everything that had dairy and/or fish/meat, and they were able to accommodate him. I... More

We had the '3 course special menu' and all courses were amazing. Extremely tasty, especially the chocolate soufflé to finish the meal. Great dining experience.

The food at Roy's was very good, as were the cocktails. However, the restaurant is very crowded and loud and parking is tricky because it's surrounded by one way streets (Park in the hotel and get your ticket validated.). Out server was very helpful and the staff cleared dishes or offered refills quickly. Would go back.
