We are not avid fish eaters but Uncle's has been our go-to place when we want to have seafood. Usually we order something deep fried and leave pretty satisfied. They also serve cocktails, wine and beer. The last time there for lunch, however, we had lobster sandwich on a roll. Except for the Maui Bikini brew, the lunch was pretty... More

This was my first time at Uncle's Fish Market & Grill. I had the freshest, best tasting tuna sandwich I've ever had. It was served on a sweet bread bun with lettuce, tomato and a slice of onion. It also came with a bowl of seafood chowder, which was equally tasty. The restaurants interior is an ocean theme with an... More

Uncle's was the last stop on our trip to Oahu, a destination in Honolulu before we needed to drop off the rental car and return to reality. I loved the story of Uncle's, the history and the memories. The restaurant was a bit hidden, as other reviews have indicated. We arrived for lunch very early an were greeted and seated... More

We saw this place after we walked from what used to be our favorite restaurant in this area, NICO's at Pier 38. This place was great. It had a very impressive menu of fish and other things. I had the Uncle's Mixed Grill and it had fish, shrimp, and scallops grilled with vegetables. The food was cooked perfectly. My wife... More

Food was simply prepared, which is just the right thing for fish. Not particularly elegant, but clean and inviting.... Much nicer than the place next door that uses plastic lawn chairs, even indoors. Easy and free parking. I will go back. It was better than Sam Choy's, in case that's another place you're considering.

When I went the place was packed. Lot's of asian business men in their aloha shirts. Prices were a little on the pricy side. Looked a lot like a "yuppie" place to me. The portions were just ok and the taste was just ok to me. But my 'brother in law' and all of the other 4 people I was... More

After such positive reviews on TripAdvisor, I definitely wanted to check this place out. Atmosphere is great, more of a friendly neighborhood restaurant sort of feel. The one thing I didn't like is depending on the table you get, if you're any kind of long-legged your knees will bump against the stand of the table. Try and scout for tables... More

Went to Uncle's and Nicos which is across the street. I'd say Uncle's was better overall. Food was tasty and seafood was very fresh.

Excellent seafood, reasonably priced, fresh fish of the boat that morning. The place is right by the marina of the beaten path, far away from Waikiki
