5 stars for the food, service needs improvement. Highly recommend the tasting menu. The flavors and textures were incredible. The food is well worth the 10-15 minute ride from Waikiki Beach. Service was inconsistent. Our watress told us 2 or 3 times she was going bring us something before she actually brought it. As an example we finished our desert... More

Town really disappointed. Service was slow, parking non-existent, and they don't have jelly or ketchup at breakfast?? The menu and food choices sound delicious, but when you get them they are lacking flavor. Organic is good, seasoned is better. They were also very expensive, $60 for two entrees and two drinks?? It definitely was not worth the parking ticket I... More

This restaurant was recommended to us on a recent trip to Honolulu. We made a reservation in advance as we were told that they were quite busy. We still had to wait for about 20 minutes which was okay because there drinks were fabulous!!! They specialize in unique flavors and farm to table food. There specials are whatever they picked... We don't often head to this neck of the woods but am really glad we did. The 3 of us had an excellent meal. My pasta was delicious, the ribs were scrumptious and the tuna very tasty. The apps were very good too. The only complaint was that the service was slightly off in terms of timing: one guest was... More

We ate lunch at Town - pretty much a local, high end, carefully food sourced restaurant. Very good food. Excellent salads - even the added chicken had good flavor. Attentive service, good coffee too.

We had good food the first time we went to this trendy restaurant. My sister and I had a delicious lunch even though I really don't like the ambiance in that place. It's cold and uncomfortable. The brushed steel table tops do not appeal to me. And the chairs are really not welcoming or good on my back. We went... More

Fresh, local and innovative cuisine without the stuffiness you might find in a restaurant of a similar caliber in a big city on the mainland. From greeting to goodbye it was a fantastic experience. Wonderful salads featuring locally grown organic greens and veggies along with delicious fish dishes made for a great meal. Another plus: manager Bryan is also a... More

Top quality local food cooked in imaginative (but not bizarre) ways. We liked it so well that we ate here twice during our 9-day vacation. It's one of those places where, even if you're not sure what some of the traditional Hawaiian ingredients ARE, you know the chef will have put them together in a way that works and works... More

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Honolulu. It's in a bit of an iffy part of town (perfectly safe but a little seedy), but it is well worth the visit for the quality of the cooking. The kitchen's order of priorities is local first and organic when possible. The care in selecting the ingredients is also reflected in... More
