Delish Breaky!

We enjoyed a very tasty breakfast at Town this morning. Food was fresh, service was great and the atmosphere was relaxing. It was so nice to have some fresh food - hard to find good places like this in the states.

Our son had recommended Town for my wife's birthday. The reservations for she and I were early so crowds were not an issue. The menu was extensive, fresh, and changes daily. Each of the servers went over the selections at each table. We ordered the Pa' i' ah (fried taro with ahi and sauteed won bok) for our apetizer. I... More

We had an avocado and mango salad that was great. The ahi special was not bad. The bread and the focaccia was divine - I do not like focaccia but this was unbelievably good. Te apple banana cream pie was the best dessert of the trip by far!

My wife and I had heard that Town was "the" place in Honolulu so we went for dinner with our daughter and son in law. First, parking is a bit of a struggle, but we accepted that as unavoidable. Next we were greeted rather tepidly by the host who showed us to our little table next to the entrance and... More

Loved the idea of slow food, locally sourced. I wanted to go to try the paʻiʻai and was not disappointed. Host gave us the menu of the night at the door. My hub, son and I shared small plates. First came the complimentary bread with butter and olives. Then we ordered a beer and a cocktail followed by a plate... More

We were excited to try Town because we've heard so much about it and seen it on TV. It could be what we ordered, but I would describe their food to be very simple and clean. What I mean by this is that they allow the seasonal ingredients to shine. Because of this, what I ordered, swordfish, was a very... More

Great service. Fresh food sourced locally. Recommended the tasting menu with the wine pairings. Parking is awful though. Best to take transit or a cab

We had dinner here on 14/05/15 as part of our exploration of places listed in the book 1001 Restaurants You Must Experience Before You Die. Town for me was alright but not great, but my husband enjoyed his meal more than I did mine. It was very busy, hopping with locals. We got bread and olives as a complementary starter,... More

Town is an outstanding restaurant in the Kaimuki neighborhood of Honolulu. There are many so-so restaurants in Honolulu so finding Town was a treat. I was recently in Honolulu for an extended stay and ate at Town on several occasions. Each time the food was imaginative and high quality. The wine choice is very good too. The service is laid... It was nice to go to a restaurant that was away from all the tourist spots. We felt like we were with the locals! Menu changes to make the best use of what is fresh at the time. Good food and fun drinks. Very friendly servers.
