Great food and music

They have fresh fish on daily special which I always order but someone told me their burgers were great too. The restaurant across the street have the same food for double the price so watch out. Nico's is far more relaxing and no tipping necessary.

For a seafood restaurant, on a pier, in the middle of the pacific, their menu is quite limited. The fresh catch of the day is limited to a single dish. The special pupu plate was sold out, even though we dined at 6:30. If you can find what you want on the limited menu, the service is adequate, and the... More

The gentleman who took my order went out of his way to accommodate me; I have a dislocated jaw and can only eat soft foods, he actually put several side dishes together to make a full meal. The Tuna was exceptional and cooked perfectly, not a problem to eat. My husband had the poke and stated he is a convert,... More

The location is part of the experience. The fish is delivered straight to restaurant from the sea. The high quality choices are many, so take your time. The environment is truly relaxing, we had local performers during lunch, all native Haiian music . The small market will gI've you options o take and enhance your memory of a place that... More

We flew in from Maui and had lunch here. The ahi tuna which was at the top of the menu was just a good if not better than the top restaurants in Maui. The difference of course is that the food in Maui is $50/plate compared to $13 at Nico's. We all got the grilled ahi tuna and it was... More

This restaurant was on our list of places to eat. I first saw this place on "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. We finally ate there on our last day before our flight left Hawaii. I wish we would of eaten there sooner, we would of went a couple of times. It was easy to find, Pier 38 , right on the... More

I had their special salad of the day with fish and plum sauce. My husband had the ahi special of the day. Holy wow! I was not expecting such delicious food for the prices. Good, simple, fresh, and delicious. The price was extremely reasonable for seafood anywhere. I'll be coming back, for certain.

After hearing all about it from the locals, we decided to give it a try. I did check out the reviews before and felt they were pretty positive so was a little surprised that, overall I wasn't impressed. We ordered calamari as an appetizer. I honestly have had better at home in Kansas. Our server told us about the specials... More

Lunch is priced great. Seafood is fresh and a great variety. All dishes are great tasting. Their is a fish market attached to the restaurant where you can buy delicious assortment of poke and salads at good prices. You can take them into restaurant and eat them with your meal.

Nico's is a favorite, The ambiance is nice, but it's too loud and the food is "good". We were there twice, once for apps and cocktails and a 2nd time just for drinks - both at the bar. The service was OK, not slow, but the servers didn't seem like they wanted to be there. We tried the Ahi ribs... More
