Excellent place for fresh fish. The catch of the day for $12.95 at lunch is the best bargain. The fisherman stew is lacklaster however. Next door in the market you will find very fresh sushi and poke at very reasonable prices.

All the dishes sounded great and we each tried something different on the menu at the recommendation of the waiter. The service was great and attentive and the food was good... More

We originally saw this place on Diner's, Drive In's, and Dives, and now eat here every time we are in Honolulu, about 4 times a year. Our favorite is the Pan Seared Furikaki Ahi. Served rare to medium rare, you'll think you are eating the most tender filet mignon you've ever had. I can't comment on too many of their... More

very relaxed atmosphere, with great service and very, very good fish. we had the Opah and Ono the fish had a buttery textured and just melted in our mouths. The rice and vegtables complimented this fish wonderfully. A very pleasant experience.

With a five hour layover in Honolulu, we decided to get a quick lunch at this "diners, drive-ins and dives" featured restaurant. At 11:30 the restaurant was already full. We had to search for a table. The feature of the day was opah with a lobster cream. Delicious! There isn't anything to do or see around the restaurant but we'll... More

Had a wonderful surf and turf meal at Nico's . Only problem was I am not a fan of my shrimp being served with the heads still attached. There is something about my food looking at me that is unsettling . The cocktails Mai tais were excellent. Service was very good and $$$ for pricing. Family friendly. Can accommodate large... More

Stumbled upon this restaurant, and so glad we did. Our family of six tried several appetizers, entrees, and desserts, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious! Definitely recommend!!
