Good Food, Crowded & Noisy

This restaurant is very crowded and noisy but has good food and ambiance. There is live guitar music during dinner and a lively bar scene. If you do not mind enduring a lengthy wait for a table and the noisy environment, this is a good restaurant to try. Portions are generous. If possible, do... read more

Since my last visit at this restaurant so many changes. Simple menu and vine in the bottle . I think new menu is very simple and customers can easily go through that. Before I was ordering vine in the carafe and now in the bottle . Better choice and selection of vines. This time I ordered same food Ahi belly... More

We ate here after our visit to Pearl Harbor memorial so arrived around 11:30am. This was perfect because by the time we were done eating it was jam packed with tons of happy lunch patrons. Our group of seven selected from several of the fish selections and they were all great. My wife, unfortunately, has a seafood allergy so got... More

So, I dined at this restaurant during a recent business trip in Hawaii, and while I REALLY wanted to love the experience, it was just OK. The restaurant is located in a great spot and has a fantastic decor; however, the most important aspect of a restaurant MUST be it's food, and in this area, I just wasn't blown away.... More

Had lunch at this restaurant today after reading reviews. This is the worse food we have tasted in Waikiki and we patronize many restaurants. Very disappointing. I had the fish and chips, fish was mushy inside with an extra thick coating of batter. Chips were cold and soggy. Spouse had the catch of the day, Ahi tuna. Fish was very... More

We were not impressed - all 6 of us. Seafood was not up to what you would think, maybe get the fish and chips. We ordered loads of specialty items and they were not as expected. I would forgo this place, its out of the way and not worth the hunt.

Very good food and service. The setting is very open and modern overlooking the marina. I would recommend it for both famlies as well as couples.

Nico's was recommend highly by most users on the web and is known to source its fresh fish daily from the docks. The fish quality is first rate as was the service. The place is large and busy, has a diverse menu and well trained waiters. The problem lies in lack of care and attention in making sure the food... More

this is a must go to when we are in Hawaii. But I will admit I was as pleased this time out there. I think they have changed their menu up some. I had Garlic shrimp! It was delicious but I felt like a huge garlic when I left! Garlic does not have to overwhelm the shrimp to be good.... More

Nico`s was an experience to be sure. We started off with a great Pupu the Ahi ribs outstanding the flavor and the whole dish was awesome. The main courses were a different story. It took forever to get our food at least 35 to 40 minutes. We got the excuse that our food ticket fell down in the kitchen and... More
