Our family loves coming to the Hula Grill for breakfasts, especially when we are still on east coast time and up early. We have consumed countless bowls of acai berry sorbet and granola, banana macadamia nut pancakes, tried every omelette, and even enjoyed the steel cut oatmeal. Of course, remember to ask for the complimentary fresh cut pineapple with the... More

I know this probably gets said a lot but we meant to eat at Dukes. The wait was over an hour so we went upstairs and there was no wait for bar area seating at The Hula Grill. The menu and prices were similar and the quality of food and service were great. They do have patio and doing room... More

Excellent. Had breakfast here 5-6 times on our last trip. Awesome food and value. Can't beat this spot for the view of the beach and all the breaks we like to surf while in town. Lots of other places to eat but this ace has it all. Especially best breakfast view in the area.

Best dining in Waikiki. Ate here 4 nights and 6 breakfasts. Tried others but kept coming back. A couple of times the staff not as good as others, but when they were good they were exceptional. Good team work, playful, friendly and helpful. We tried most of the breakfasts, all good. Fried Rice form days my fav which is a... More

We had a nice breakfast overlooking the beach. Our table was on the rail overlooking Duke's patio and the beach. We had a Great view. We were seated promptly with our reservation at 8:00. The server took our drink order as soon as we were seated. The coffee, OJ and bloody Mary's were good. We ordered eggs Benedict, bagel with... More

Very mediocre food. More like bar food than a restaurant. I only went there because I couldn't get into Dukes. Wish I hadn't. Service was also lousy. Won't go back. Don't waste your money unless you don't care if the food is good.

Some poster thinks a $7 Mai Tai at Happy Hour is good. They haven't looked around much. I've had $4 (or less) Mai Tais (during HH) at several places just a few blocks away that are better than these.

For the money there are better around. If you want a table with a beach view the wait is abut 45mins to an hour peak season. Service average.
