Awesome food, awesome views.

We went there for dinner, waited for an hour but the wait is so worth it. The food was amazing, especially the seafood specials. I love the shiitake mushroom risotto, and the coconut cream kahuku sides. And bring home a few bottles of that sauce that you dip with your bread with.

What a great restaurant! Great ocean/beach view. Fresh fresh seafood. Great drinks. We visited several times and were never disappointed.

Hula Grill on Waikiki Beach is right on the water above Dukes. Venture upstairs during Aloha Hour (3 pm to 6 pm) and get some tasty deals. Mai Tai's are $8 and the Pupus are mouth watering - shrimp tacos, ribs and calamari were all really good and very reasonably priced. Service was great too.

This by far was one of the best meals we had while on vacation in Hawaii. The food was so fresh with natural flavors and the atmosphere was exquisite. Perfect selections of wine and appetizers to get you started and one of a kind entrees. We will definitely go back to this restaurant again.

Walking along Kalakaua Ave. in Waikiki, we found many places to have dinner. Our first stop was Azure in the Royal Hawaiian resort. Looking at their menu we knew we wanted to be near the beach, but didn't want to pay $40 per person for dinner. Hoping we'd find a good place to go, we ventured back out on the... More

We stopped in on a whim while we were walking around looking for somewhere to eat breakfast. Food was good. Service was quick. Price was reasonable.

We went for dinner. The service was competent. I had the seafood coconut stew. It was definitely tasty. The band in the bar was way too loud. Really it was cringe worthy.

Happy Hour, Happy Hour, Happy Hour. You can wait for a view table or see if you can luck out by walking in to the bar area. This is always a pleasant experience the their Happy hour is the way to do it.

We went originally to Dukes, but with an hour wait we were directed upstairs to the Hula Grill. Here the wait was 30 minutes so we went to the bar with our pager. After having only 1 Prosecco between us served by the Friendly Brian & his colleague our buzzer went off. We wee directed to a brilliant table on... More

One of the restaurants which is very popular with tourists (and which had been recommended to us) was Duke's Waikiki. Since we were in the area, we headed over to the restaurant only to find that there was a 1 1/2 hour wait to be seated. So the hostess recommended that we go upstairs to the Hula Grill...same food, same... More
