I thought it was very pretty here but it wouldn't be on my list again. Service wasn't that good and food was just average. To be honest would probably give this place another shot as I really wanted to like it! Every restaurant has an off day and I think we just hit The Banyan Veranda's day when we went.

such a great selection at this serve yourself bar. Food is very good and it's all you can eat. We had breakfast included and ate mid morning so you don't need lunch! Excellent.

A seriously ill friend of ours asked us to have a Mai Tai for him under the Banyan tree at the Ala Moana Hotel. It was beautiful. We chose a table next to the tree so we could enjoy an ocean view in front of us and a view of the charming, historical, Victorian hotel behind us. The Mai Tais... More

We had dinner at the Banyan Beach Club one evening, just picking it at random as we walked along the beach. The food was good, cocktails were good and the experience of sitting right on the beach for dinner was just lovely. The surrounds of the Westin Surfrider were lovely too - felt like we were in a grand old... More

We have a friend who moved to Honolulu a year or so ago to head up a local arts organization and when we decided to meet for lunch, he suggested we stay right at the hotel and he would meet us here for lunch. He highly recommended the verandah and we were pleased with our long lunch. He got us... More

One has to enjoy a high tea at the Banyan Veranda - served delightfully - we enjoy the Moana sunset tea plus all the cakes, sandwiches and scones well worth the value and the relaxing comfort of such a fine venue.

After having lots of processed food in Honolulu, it was refreshing to be served real food for once! It was a pity I could not stomach a buffet, otherwise it looked extremely enticing. I ordered waffles and my husband ordered the omelette, both well presented and made of good quality ingredients, tasted beautiful and accompanied by a great view -... More

Food was great and because we were staying at the hotel, we were able to be seated immediately with a 5-minute before reservation. Definitely recommend doing the breakfast buffet!

I had breakfast here twice and fish tacos out by the pool. Everything was above average. Pricey but no complaints.
