My husband and I dined with seven of our friends on a recent trip to Oahu. Don't let the location and understated decor fool you. The perfect attention to intricate detail was amazing--perfect Mai Tai, creative appetizers, exceptional entrees, and innovative desserts made for an exceptional evening. Definitely try the coconut "cake"!

We had dinner at the MW on Thursday night not knowing what to expect and arrived in jeans and T-tops w/ flip flop slippers. Upon entering, we felt a little under dressed, but the hostess and wait staff were pleasant and accommodating. Two of us had the 5-course sampling which was quite nice. I wasn't crazy about the uni ans... More

Just opened last year , they are a husband / wife team formerly from Alan Wong's. The dessert menu is to die for and strongly recommend it. The presentation is a art form in itself!!! Definitely going back during our annual trip to Hawaii

We saved the best until last and visited MW on our last night after it having been recommended by locals and visitors alike. It was amazing. The service was faultless and you definitely must save room for dessert as it is their speciality for sure. We ordered one entree/main and they kindly split it on to two plates for us... More

I was there on a Monday night with a group of 11 colleagues. We chose the tasting menu, which we found to be an excellent choice, and a great value. Our multicourse dinner included a wide panoply of flavours, mainly reflecting dishes of Oriental cuisine: among them, ceviche, ahi poke, crème brulée, kimchi, risotto, and opakapaka. The wine, beer, cocktail... More

First, here's now to get there: It's behind Pho Saigon (which has a big easy to see sign). MW has a small sign that is two forks making the letters m and w. Hard to see from the road. Went there with my family for early dinner, happy hour before catching a plane to the mainland US. My son said... More

I dined at MW for lunch with a girlfriend on 9/3/14. We both agreed that the food was just "okay". The combinations (Hawaiian/Asian fusion) were interesting, food was nicely presented, but the flavors were just okay. The dishes were creative, but fell short on execution. I would prefer tasty food without all the fussiness. We don't mind spending $$$ on... More

Good service, with great food. The location is surprising but the ambience is nice. We would hurry back for the creative meals and lengthy menu.

Went here for a "date night" with my wife and was pleasantly surprised by how good everything was. From the service to the food, and including the atmosphere. We are going to try their lunch menu next. So many things on the menu to try and so little time. Can't wait to go back.

Went here for dinner with a group of 8 to celebrate my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. Had a reservation and we were seated right away. We started with some appetizers including calamari and others which were very good and an array of special mixed drinks. I had the garlic steamed red snapper for dinner and it may have been the...
