Best for sunset drinks!

I've never eaten here - only gotten drinks and watched the sunset while listening to the band and watching the hula dancer. It is my favorite place in Waikiki for cocktails and it's not because of the cocktails. Frankly, those are really just average, but the atmosphere, entertainment, and view... read more

My family of 7 & I had dinner here on our last night before heading back home. It left me wanting to return. To start you get a bread basket that consists of 3 different kinds of bread -- roll, cornbread, bread stick. The cornbread was so fresh and tasty that we had to ask for another basket of just... Maybe it was just a bad day but our waiter messed everything up, the wrong drinks and the wrong food, plus it felt like no one really cared. That may have been the case. This is a gorgeous setting right on Waikiki in Honolulu's most beautiful hotel. I'd like to say it's worth it, but I'd recommend puu puu's at... More

It’s a bit cheeky to have a favourite location here as I would struggle to really to able to measure one against the other. All the hotels, bars and restaurants along the ocean are blessed with their location which offers ocean and beach views from almost any angle. That being said, the cafe “House Without a Key” appeals to me... More

our new spot for after dinner drinks & dessert. Lunch is pretty good too, but we can't get over the world's best coconut cake! Had it pretty much every second night :)

Our first night on the island we ended up at House Without a Key. Food was good. View was better. Kind of pricey but you are paying for the view.

I wandered in off the street on the recommendation of friends, and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. I just wanted a drink and appetizers and they seated me close to wear the Hawaiian singers and occasional hula dancer were performing, facing west so I wouldn't miss the sunset. They served me the best mai tai I ever drank. Nothing... More

I'll start by saying the atmosphere and music were great. It went steadily down hill from there. I ordered a $50 steak. I was thinking a Mortons $50 steak, but instead received an 8oz. steak that might have been 3/4" thick. I've seen better cuts of meat at Walmart. (I'm not exaggerating.) I don't mind paying a generous amount for... More

We had gone to the house with out a key to see the sunset. Well, wrong time of year. However, we did get to watch hula dancers and listen to island music. They have a free pupu of chips that seem to me to be homemade, very tasty. And the drinks average $15. It was a very family oriented atmosphere,... More

My husband and I went to this restaurant on the advise of our server Jillian at the Moana Surfrider, because I asked where we could find some old style Hawaiian music. What a great suggestion. She told us they do not take reservations for dinner and that it gets crowded quickly. We decided to walk over on a Sunday and... More
