A great place overlooking the beach to watch the sunset be have cocktails. Hawaiian music was being played by a band and a former Miss Hawaii even did the hula to a couple songs. Lovely! This bar/restaurant is at a high end hotel, the Halekulani, so you will not want to show up in your bathing suit and cover up.... More

We eat here each time we are staying in Honolulu. We dine there a lot. Dinner is in the garden with a view to Diamond Head. Open air ambience uplifted by traditional Hawaiian band and dancer. Food and wines excellent.

What a hidden gem. A more beautiful setting does not exist. I ate here 3 times while on a business trip to Hawaii. Perfect for a couple. Food, service, and ambiance was perfect. Go to House without a key.

For Mother's Day I was wanting something a bit off of the typical radar for restaurants so I looked to Trip Advisor to guide me. So glad I did! When I called to make a reservation I was surprised to find out they don't take reservations even on Mother's Day. We showed up at 5pm when the doors opened. We... More

We had our first meal on Oahu at this restaurant. Nice Hawaiian music and a Hawaiian dancer for entertainment and good food. Portions were small and price was high but the food was very good and atmosphere relaxing. A little more upscale than expected, but a good way to start our trip

This was a fantastic meal with impeccable service that allowed us to enjoy Waikiki without being overwhelmed by the hustle of Waikiki. The fish of the day was the red snapper which was perfectly cooked. Definitely try the coconut cake. It is light and fluffy.

Friday and Saturdays evenings are the best way to experience the Hawaii I grew up in. The long board breaks of Waikiki, the coast line of Diamond Head changes colors as evening approaches. Kanoe Miller performs with the Hiram Olson trio and this is the reason we always come back to Halekilani's House Without a Key. Kanoe's hula is imbued... More

After a short walk along the beach, we found our way to a restaurant on the beach called “House Without a Key”. Bill’s friend had suggested this place as having a great sunset cocktail hour with the best Mai Tai’s in Honolulu, along with a three-piece Hula band and Miss Hawaii doing the hula! So we settled in to listen... More

i love this spot for an evening bbq but really dislike the breakfast buffet. Poor choices and quality is very basic.
