First of all, the decor was awesome. I've been to Italy three times and for me it felt like I walked into a restaurant in Italy. They had the traditional Italian dishes plus some Chefs originals, like the fish dish "opakapaka Mediterrania" and lobster ravioli. I had the penne melanzane with the eggplant and mozzarella cheese and I loved it.... More

The ambiance is elegant and romantic, quiet and well decorated, the staff is very helpful and on point, never under staff. I think the reason why this place runs so well is because the owner, a real Italian:Sergio Mitrotti is always there. I don't think there has been one single time we had gone to eat dinner that we don't... More

Enchanting venue. The attentive friendly service enhanced the meal. The food was both great and lacking. The spaghetti pomodoro was terrific! Perfectly timed pasta with chunky tomato, fresh basil sauce. The lasagna disappointed. Thin, a bit overdone noodles layered with unremarkable meat sauce, a translucent layer of melted cheese on the top. And…? And done. That's it! The lasagna was... More

Six of us had dinner at Cafe Sistina; two of us are 'regulars' at the resturant. Started dinner with a large Antipasto Misto which was enough for all 6 of us. Then we shared a Caprese salad and an Insalata Greca. Following 3 of us had the wonderful gnocchi gorgonzola and 3 had the veal bolognese which all three said... More

We had reservations for when they first opened at 11:30 AM and we were like the second group inside so why were we were put in the worst table- in a hallway that was being used as storage. The place never was full so we could not see why we could not have been put in the main dining room-... More

I was introduced to Cafe Sistina when I worked at one of the near-by offices. My first experience was with lunch, the pricing was more than affordable, considering the amount of food provided. There are always room for left-overs. During my 10 years living on Oahu CS became my "go to" favorite "foodie" restaurant. Beyond the fair pricing, the food... More

My wife and I took another couple here for dinner recently, selected on the basis of other trip advisor reviews and the ability to make a somewhat late reservation on a Saturday for dinner the same evening. The exterior has a kind of bland commercial office feel about it but the interior is surprisingly interesting, pleasant, and a bit funky... More

I've been here a couple times over the past few years and it's kind of amazing how busy this little restaurant can get despite being tucked away. Maybe hard to find if you are visiting. We had a fairly large party. Service was pretty good. We had brought a special dessert and the restaurant charged a fee of $1.50 per... More

I like this restaurant as a place to meet friends before going out for the evening...especially if you don't want to eat a lot. Good atmosphere and service, but the food is a bit common place.
