The location is absolutely gorgeous -- well worth the 10 minute walk from central Waikiki. The restaurant is right on a very quiet beach and in the middle of the restaurant is a beautiful tree which you sit right under during your meal. The service was great -- friendly, prompt but not rushing you at all, gave good wine advice.... More

Eating breakfast right on the edge of the beach watching the morning waves. Attentive staff but it's best to make reservations for breakfast as everyone in the hotel wants to eat here. Great location but a bit pricey.

The restaurant is located within the Omani Kaimana Beach Hotel, which sits right on the beach. The tables are outside sitting underneath huge beautiful Hau Trees! A truly romantic & relaxing setting. I only wish the food was as wonderful as the ambiance! It is NOT! The fish was ok - nothing special or worth having again, and the vegetarian... More

My wife and I were looking for a place to have breakfast and we found the best kept secret in Waikiki. A very romantic and relaxing atmosphere with a million dollar view. The staff was friendly and courteous, with a genuine interest to serve each and every guest. This is absolutely a must visit while you're in Oahu.

Located in the New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel is this small dining experience nestled under a large Hau Tree. The setting is on the beach with a full view of Waikiki harbor. The menu was limited and a couple of dishes listed on the night's menu were not available although we arrived by 6:30 pm. The Kendall Jackson wine listed... More

Located in The New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel, this hidden treasure did not disappoint. Sitting outside beachside under the historic Hau trees, the lights in the trees coupled with the stars above made for a lovely, relaxing dinner. The Caesar Salad was a generous portion, enough to be shared by 3 diners. Dinner was the Seafood Mixed Grill, nestled in... More

This is a venue for a special event. You are dining in a tree covered courtyard with dim lighting and live soft music. All this before the food arrived. My appetizer was the Portuguese Bean Soup. It was full of flavor. I would order it again. Recently I have had difficult reading menus. I saw the Linguine in Clam Sauce,... More

I've reviewed this restaurant before and my opinions have not changed. The ringside seats to the beach just beyond the restaurant's wall and very attentive servers make this restaurant a very enjoyable place to dine. The food is better than average but not on the same level as, say, the Halekulani but the quality is commensurate with the price. Price... More

My wife and I have dined at HTL for decades and it just seems to get better and better. The good news is that this al fresco venue is arguably one of the best beachside settings anywhere. And the food and service measure up quite well with the setting. Service is unobtrusive and responsive. On this night my wife and... More
