This was one of the best meals we had on our trip. It was recommended to us by a local hairdresser and we decided to go here on our last night, wish we went here at the start of our trip so we could have gone twice. This place may not look the nicest but the staff are great and... More

This is one of those one-of-a-kind, great Hawaiian food experiences. It's family style. It's old and noisy and not-so-fancy and wonderfully unique. If you expect the standard restaurant experience -- you will be disappointed because that is not what this place is about! The food is why you come here. I've been here multiple times over the last few years,... More

I went here for dinner here with my husband as he had been raving about the place since trying it out a few weeks prior. This place is awesome with friendly service, huge portions, and a great deal for the area. The calamari appetizer is the best I have ever tasted. The fried rice is enough for 4 people to... More

We visited the Side Street Inn in late December. Service was friendly, efficient, and helpful. Portions are huge and we knew this ahead of time, so we shared a chicken dish and their special fried rice dish. The place was crowded by the time we left- about 6:30 pm - so reservations might be helpful. The decor of their second... More

Good fried chicken...and even better for late night party people! It's located along a back alley of clubs and lounges and comes to life at night. You can find politicians mixing with locals and tourists alike (as we did!) and all come for the good food and social fun.

Side Street Inn is an annual stop for our family vacation & it never fails! The food is always perfection & the choices are endless. You must make this one of your top 10's while on Oahu. My favorite -- the rib eye. It is like butter :) The only negatives would be the possible wait time due its popularity... More

I suggested the Side Street Inn as other friends of mine were just there and raved about the food. So I suggested it to my friends from out of town who wanted to try someplace new. If you want to dine in a sports bar, under a blaring loud television then this is the place for you. We arrived at... More

Thank you gods of gluttony for having a local recommend this spot to us while we were in Hawaii. This spot is no joke. Food portions are INSANE. And the food is insanely good. Ideal spot for sharing, preferably dining with 4 or more people. It was just my girlfriend and me and we got the pork chops, kal bi,... More
