This is where chefs go after work

This is one of those places that chefs go after they are done with work- great place to kick back with a group of friends, share some great food and enjoy it all! With appropriate reservations- this place is the best- we went here with 30 people and I have been here with 3- good service, great... read more

Everytime I visit Oahu, I make sure to have a meal or two here. Everything that I've had has been wonderful. The food taste very fresh and has a lot of flavor. The staff is always in a great mood.

We took our Ohana to eat dinner on a Monday and it was great. Lots of booths available. The food is fantastic and lots of it! Got to be hungry to eat here. One dish can feed at least three people. The fried rice is good. Lilikoi ribs are delicious, ribeye steak and kalbi is great, fried chicken wings are... More

Served family style, this is great for groups. So much to try! We had beef ribs, sizzling beef,a huge salad, a fried rice dish, and teriyaki chicken. Also had dessert which was deep fried cake with ice cream and choc! We had 8 in our group and we were able to call ahead for table use valet parking as the... More

Ordered the oz tail soup and the hot wings, and both were very delicious. I would definitely come back and order other items off their menu. I'm sure that all other dishes are fantastic. Come and try this place, you won't be sorry.

Side Street Inn, a long time local favorite, and after that Anthony Bourdain special a few years back, a must stop for foodie tourists. Yes the same gripes remain- lack of ample parking, almost always crowded, massive amounts of food (is that a gripe though?), and very seasoned decor However, the pros definitely outweigh the cons at this landmark local... This is the old Side Street Inn--not the new one near Waikiki. One reviewer noted that the table and chairs were cheap--no question that is true BUT the food selections are all local and fantastic. Service by Jill (who looks like she is 18 but has worked there for 9 years) was a 10+. I had the crusted chop pork... More

We went here based on trip advisor reviews, but the area was not very nice, and when we went in to the restaurant, the tables and chairs were cheap and there was a really bad smell. The prices were not cheap, and didn't match the decor.

My family loved the Side Street Inn! We wandered in on a Friday night, and sat next to a few locals...good thing cause the coached us on what to order. We enjoyed the garlic edamame, and the house salad and an amazing fried rice! Then we all share the beef short ribs and the coconut fish. Everything was delicious.....for desert... More

This is a must dine here when we are in Honolulu. There is almost always a wait but it is worth it. We have been here several times and have never been disappointed. This time we had two of the house specialties: the Fried Rice and the Housin Ribs. Both were excellent. There were two of us and we left... More
