Food in Hawaii is expensive. This place at least has some reasonable prices and coupons. We ate the special combo dinner with added lobster. The stuffed fish was ok. The shrimp cocktail used tiny shrimp and a lot of lettuce. The steak was thin and had little flavor. The lobster was rubbery. If the prices had been any higher, the... More

While my travelling companion really enjoyed the breakfast. On ordering, the server gave an expression less look when I asked what was Gluten Free, and wouldn't entertain any deviation. I opted for what I thought was a safe choice with an omelette. It didn't agree with my stomach. I was made aware of a practice of including wheat flour into... More

Quick and (very) affordable breakfast just a few blocks up from the beach. The Pineapple boat is a must add!

We walked past this establishment several times before deciding to try it. We are so happy that we did. The cleanliness of the place was good, considering it's across the street from the beach which provides a steady flow of traffic. The waiters were very helpful and engaging. Now let's get to the food - We tried the strawberry pancakes,... More

Had breakfast here, the food was pretty good. This isn't an upscale place but the prices don't reflect that either. This is a nice alternative to "diners" you could go to on the Mainland like Denny's and iHOP.

Most of the reviews said to go to this place for the pancakes, so we tried. We went once and found it just ok and would of returned again, But we found another place to try which for us was perfect. I'm not bagging this place cos it did serve an eatable breakfast and the price was good, it just... More

Great food in basic restaurant The Seaside is somewhat of an institution on Kuhio Avenue Waikiki. The meals are varied with very strong emphasis on seafood. The sirloin and lobster for $18.95 was excellent value. Staff are very friendly and very keen to assist. Drinks are very reasonably priced and the happy hour on cocktails seems to last all night.... We ate here twice during our stay - once for dinner and once for breakfast. For dinner I had the special steak and lobster which was good especially for the price; my husband ate the steak and shrimp. He was not impressed with his shrimp. For breakfast, we ate off the menu (not the special flyer they hand you when... More
