The food was terrific and the buffet had a large variety to please everyone. The aquarium was gorgeous and the diver made it a lot of food n to watch. Service was also very good.

We stumbled upon this restaurant one morning looking for a breakfast buffet - and we found it! An awesome breakfast buffet with yummy looking selections, and curry (I thought that was odd, but was good). Tables all over, aquariums all over too, great to see/watch all breakfast! Our server got us beverages and took plates - they were just awkward,... More

We did not eat at Oceanarium but did visit to see the aquarium. We stopped by between breakfast and lunch and the hotel let us in to check it out. We had planned on going to the Waikiki Aquarium but guest services at our hotel didn’t recommend it. This was a nice free activity.

We had reservations for 5:30 PM. As soon as we entered, they informed us that they would need our table by 7 PM.That was not a problem for us, since we had a flight to catch, and would have been out by that time anyway. Just felt that they could should have said it in a little nicer tone. We... More

We were very happy with the seating, we had our to kids with us and got a table right by the aquarium which have our oldest (4 years-old) a lot of joy especially when the fish was feed. The buffet is expensive which I am okay with if the food is outstanding. Overall the chefs were on top of their... More

We thoroughly enjoyed the huge crab buffet at the Oceanarium. Besides crab they offered many other kinds of seafoods, especially shrimp cooked about half a dozen different ways. For the turf-minded they had chicken dishes and prime rib. Then the big surprise--the diver feeding the manta rays and the sharks followed by the "mermaid" swimming without apparent underwater apparatus. They... More

We had our New Years' buffet on January 1st, 2014 and was very, very impressed with the food! Our family was very excited to have the buffet again on January 1st 2015. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The smoked salmon was no longer offered. Neither were the roasted pig with steamed buns or the oysters on the half shell. The... More

We went twice during our stay. The food was excellent both times. Viewing of the aquarium is very good from both tables that we had. The reason I'm not giving 5 stars is service. During the first visit it was excellent, but during the second visit it was just poor. Seemed like our waiter just forgot about us till it... More

We've been to the Oceanarium Restaurant in Waikiki for dinner several times over the years. Each time it's gotten a little more expensive and the food quality has depreciated. Don't get me wrong, it's still very good but do you want to fill up on pasta for $45? They always have prime rib, which is good. But the crab on... More

We have a spread of picky eaters amongst us and this brunch has something for everyone! I love snow crab legs and they steam them just right. My husband and daughter love sushi. Our son can eat fruit all day long. The variety of food from breakfast to lunch items were very good and desserts were not too sweet and... More
