Kinda like a trip back in time.

The food on the buffet was OK. Crab legs were the highlight. My wife found a fruit fly in her pasta. Grand daughter loved the fish and mermaid. . We had a 4:30 reservation so we could see the 5:00 pm fish feeding complete with mermaid. We got caught in traffic and were a few minutes... read more

Located in the Pacific Beach Hotel, the Oceanarium has a three story aquarium filled with sting rays, groupers and many varieties of Pacific Ocean dwellers. Wonderful breakfast menu with many choices of fresh fruits, crepes, made-to-order omelets, etc.

Excellent place to eat. Love their breakfast buffet with food for the Eastern or Western patron. Discount coupons can be found in the magazine by the travel counter. It is also fun to watch the divers feed the fish by hand, so ask for their feeding schedule. All meals are excellent.

We decided to go back for Crab Legs for Brunch this past Sunday and I must say I was not disappointed! The legs were large, bountiful and constantly replenished - I asked the server if I could get the legs steamed (as they are served cold) without hesitation they brought out an endless supply of steamed legs!!! WELL DONE! The... More

Once upon a time, the Oceanarium was a great buffet. NOT ANYMORE. After many years away, we went back on a Saturday night at approximately 5:30 pm. Many of the food items had not been replenished and the sushi was tiny, to the extreme. Food was not hot and did not taste fresh. BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT -- management. I found fruit... More

I am not much for buffets in general. That much food piled into a trough alongside other troughs would be hard to keep really high quality. That being said, they did offer crab legs and kids love the aquarium and some of the staff (Chan) are really good. I was bummed when the hostess seated me amidst a sea of... More

King crab night. The aquarium restaurant is spectacular - a huge tank containing wonderful colourful fish and rays. The food was also pretty good - unlimited king crab legs, very delicate rib, and plenty of other nice things that were secondary to the crab and beef. The dessert selection was also excellent. The problem is they don't work together. The... More

The crab was plentiful, but was a bit too salty. The prime rib was excellent. Mahi Mahi was not good at all and sushi was decent. The desserts were fair, but kids seemed to love the chocolate fountain and ice cream machine. Be sure to book a reservation during a time when they feed the fish, that was fun to... More
