We stopped here for our first dinner in Hawaii. Decor is outdated and felt dingy. Extremely loud. The buffet was disappointing. $45 for subpar offerings. All four of us felt disappointed with the meal. The bar did not know how to make a simple Moscow Mule just the typical Hawaiian drinks. Staff was accommodating.

Hostess was a bit snotty about giving us a table, but once we got it figured out the atmosphere was great. A "mermaid" comes in to feed the fish in this three story tank every 1 1/2 hour iin evening. She has the rays doing a ballet. It's a beautiful show. The food is fine. Descent assortment in buffet.

In the Pacific Beach Hotel is where this famous aquarium restaurant is. A very nice place to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner. I recommend breakfast buffet because it much less expensive!! The food is good!!

It was our daughter's 11th birthday, 'hubby had made reservations, and we walked into smiles and positivity! The food was delicious, the three story tank was full of beautiful fish, and our waiter was quick, kind, informative, and energetic. (Please realize that you can ask for a menu, you are not required to get the $43 amazing buffet.). Our meals... More

We booked a special night at the Oceanarium and were really looking forward to it. The food is good especially the crab claws which my husband loves. However, while a table near the tank is wonderful be prepared to have people elbowing past you, children standing on the chairs at your table and arms stretched above your head completely over... This restaurant was horrible in all aspects. First, we called to make a reservation and told them it was our anniversary and requested a table with good seating. When we got to the restaurant we were shown to one of the worst tables in the place. The food was basic at best. The food was so salty and didn't taste... More

Was so excited to take our 3 children here (ages 4, 5 and 8) to the fish and the MERMAID. The service was terrible. The food was terrible. There was nothing there that I enjoyed except the soft serve ice cram. It was meant to be oyster themed. Expected different ways of oysters not just opened. Nothing there for my... More

Ate a late lunch on Saturday...weekend brunch menu.($39). Very pricy! Ate coconut shrimp, Linguini with garlic and salmon ( cold!), crab legs (cold!), Belgium waffles, and salad. My stomach hurt later, not sure if it's because food was not at temperature.

This restaurant was on my list of 'must-do' while in Waikiki. I was very disappointed with it. The food was good enough and I'd go again to eat here. But the big hype was for the 280,000 gallon aquarium. There weren't many fish swimming around; I certainly expected more in an aquarium of that size. The 'mermaid' was probably exciting... More

Loved the restaurant and the crab, seafood buffet... I've been back three times and find the staff so friendly and the aquarium view and added bonus to the great meal.
