Authentic Thai Food !

My family comes here as a treat! We live the pineapple fried rice served in a pineapple as well as all the tasty curries. It's not inexpensive but the dishes are traditional Thai!

I am thrilled we stopped to have dinner at Chiang Mai. My husband had the seafood mixed vegetables ... It was outstanding. We will be going back again and again.

My family went for dinner. We had spring rolls, calamari, and stuffed chicken wings. Great appetizers but served on broken plates. All the corners of the plates were broken. The evil jungle shrimp dish came with the shrimp still raw. Never order alcohol because it is cheap. This used to be a first class restaurant. So sad that it has... More

We look for new thai restaurants each visit to Honolulu. We took a party of 12 to dinner here, and the food was awesome. My only warning, is if you like your food hot or spicy, be careful, as I ordered my dinner extra spicy, and it was, without a doubt, the hottest I've ever eaten. Literally numbed my lips... More

We chose Chiang Mai because it was a 5 minute walk from my friend's house. After reading reviews about how popular and difficult it was to get in, I made reservations which didn't seem too difficult. We ordered a lot of the recommended specialties, and a few stood out. The pineapple fried rice was highly recommended and justly so. The... More

I just LOVED this Thai restaurant! Great decor! Great service! Great food! Great AND YUMMY fun! My husband and I were LUCKY enough to take a trip to Honolulu this summer and met up with a friend who works at the University of Hawaii. He took us to Chiang-Mai and it was WONDERFUL! We have many very good Thai restaurants... More

Now that my favorite Thai restaurant lost its lease and the owner has not reopened it is become time for me to look for other good Thai food. Last week I stopped by Chang Mai. I've driven by 1000 times, but never really had a reason to eat there since Siam Palace had the best Thai food on the island.... More

This place has food that melts in your mouth. They make it as hot or mild as you request. I like sweat with my Thai so I always get thai hot and it never disappoints. The atmosphere inside is authentic and the staff has always provided excellent service. My wife and I eat here at least once a month. Give... More

When an acquaintance passed through town unexpectedly on New Year's Eve, I wasn't expecting such a great meal - I was just happy to get a last-minute reservation. Not only did we get in, we got a fantastic Thai meal! I compare Thai restaurants on several key dishes, one being the Tod Mun (fishcake) appetizer. These were the best I've... More

It was always busy but worth a visit for the fried rice alone! A short walk from our hotel this was a no-brainer and the atmosphere in the evening is lovely!
