A friend of mine recommended this place to me and she was right...it was delicious! We tried the spring rolls which were awesome and I ordered the Chiang Mai's Hot Spicy beef. It was very good!! I ordered medium and it had a nice bite to it! Our water glasses were filled constantly and everyone was very nice!

They have a nice list of vegetarian options, the food is very fresh, the service is great, and the prices are very competitive ($9 for an entree). Definitely a hidden gem on S King St.

We lived in Hawaii and when we did this was one of our favorite restaurants. Now we live in Florida and travel back to Hawaii once a year. Our first stop is Chiang Mai. It is family run, the food is authentic, the prices are a little lower than some of the other Thai restaurants (you pay for the Orchids... More

My wife and I went to lunch at Chiang-Mai today. We decided to go on the strength of the reviews here, so we piled into the car and drove from Ko Olina. We arrived just before the restaurant closed for lunch so there were very few other people there. Accordingly, the waitress was respectfully and keenly focused on taking our... More

Nothing worse than telling the waiter to make it "Thai hot" and then wondering if the cook knows what a chili is or has ever taken one step in Siam. You wont have to worry about that here. THIS PLACE GETS IT !!!!! Smoking flavor and few tourists! Try the sticky rice, try the spring rolls, try the green curry,... More

My daughter's friend told her about this fantastic restaurant. The food is authentic Thai food just like the food I ate when I visited Thailand. It is run my people from Thailand so they really know how to cook. I have taken my family here several times and it is very very good. It is the best Thai food outside... More

We ate with local friends here and really enjoyed our experience. It is located downtown onKing St. The atmosphere is decorated in the typical Thai fashion and a bit dated. The staff was helpful and friendly and I believe it is run by a family. There were many locals there. We ordered five different dishes and shared them all. Each... More

In a town full of touristy Thai restaurants, this is the only authentic one..............excellent service, friendly staff; diverse and interesting menu features many well known dishes and some not-so-well-known ones; Food quality is excellent. Good for families and children. Recommended.

We usually have a large family table when we eat here (yes we go whenever we visit Honolulu - about twice a year). Service is always great. The food is always great. We are sharers, so we always get to try a lot of dishes a table, and I have yet to be disappointed by anything there. The pineapple chicken... More

I ended up here with a local (though not a Hawaiian). The food was great. The curry's were well balanced (green and massaman), nice and coconutty, and the sticky rice was in fact sticky. The service was efficient and overall the restaurant had neat decor. If you are looking to get out of Waikiki, make your way over to King... More
