I love La Mariana! It's one of the last of the Tiki Bar and restaurants that were so popular 40 or 50 years ago. The decor is fantastic. We've had lunch and dinner hereand both meals were excellent. Their calamari steak is a feast, one of the best I've ever had. The service can be spotty but hey, aren't you... More

First, this is a working area of Honolulu and it caters to same. Very inexpensive prices for both food and drink (and excellent drinks) and right on the water. Hard to find so Google directions in advance, but when you get there, be prepared for dining among dock workers, military service members, motorcyclists and tourists all having a great time... More

Well, I would not drive here for the food. However, if you ever wanted to be in an episode of the original Hawaii 5-0, you should go here. I doubt much has changed since 1975. The live entertainment was thoroughly entertaining. Ok, we had knew or two Zombie drinks. I love authentic kitsch and this fits the bill.

La Mariana Sailing Club Restaurant is a flashback to perhaps what Hawaii looked like 50 years ago. It's a very cool atmosphere that you just want to soak up. The Zombies ("strong" Mai Tai's) were good but not very strong but the coconut shrimp were excellent. Our server was not good, however. She completely forgot one of our family member's... More

This place is a giant disappointment....while the marina is nice, that's about it. The service was slow, drink glasses were empty repeatedly. The food was average at best and that's being generous. Don't waste your time.

The food may not be the best but the atmosphere (if you like stepping back in time and remember Gilligan's Island) plus their selection of tropical drinks make up for it - be sure an order a Zombie. Most afternoon's and early evening hours they have entertainment - not excellent but family fun. Would I recommend it to a foodie... More

If you like watered down drinks and poor service with mediocre food...this is your place. We had to find the waitress for a second round of drinks (and everything else during dinner). She missed one entree for our party and it finally came half an hour later after the rest of us finished. Oh well, with a required 18% gratuity... More

So, I have been to Hawaii for the last 20 years and never run into La Mariana. What a mistake!!! This place was so cool and fun. In a city where nothing is inexpensive, La Mariana is a gem. Stopped by on the way to our condo from the airport. Great Hawaiiana atmosphere and one of the last great tiki... More

It takes your GPS to find a little bit of old Hawaii along the docks of Honolulu but oh what a great place this is. For those who love the 40s 50s &some 60s music in the Old Original Tiki Hut of the past this is the place for you for fun and great food. Retired singers from the past... More

Since we were staying at the Airport Honolulu Hotel and didn't want to travel far, we chose this establishment for dinner. I made a reservation on Open Table and I'm glad we did as there was a 15 minute wait. The food was good, the music loud and the service somewhat slow. Not very surprising as this is a more... More
