Tiki Bar with Old Hawaiian Flare

So my wife wanted to visit this place as she had read about it and were kinda into Tiki bars. It was a short drive to the marina from honolulu, and it was a picture perfect day. The place is at the end of an old marina road. Not much to look at from the outside, but some of the... More

I've been going here since 2004, and rarely miss the chance to drop in if I'm anywhere near Sand Island. I love that it's a perfect tiki oasis surrounded by dirty boat yards and marinas. Wish I could have hung out there 50 years ago, but so glad that it's still around today!

Absolutely enjoyed the overall dining experience at La Mariana's. Staff were attentive and served our large group well. I had the lobster and it was super delicious even though a little on the tough side. Excellent range of cocktails and good menu.

We spent a day touring Oahu with Ron Wong, Oahuspottours, and ended our day at this restaurant. We told Ron we wanted a place with great food and a Hawaiian atmosphere. It was just what we had hoped for. The staff was so wonderful and attentive. The food and drinks were plentiful and delicious. There was a gentleman playing the... More

This is one of our family favorites and we take our guests here whenever possible. It's changed a bit over the last 20 years and we miss the big peacock chairs but it still holds its tiki charm. The drinks are fine and the food good although some food is excellent. Ahi poke is the one that falls in the... More

We have been to this restaurant before & had great food & service. But today it was terrible!! Waited for over an hour with our 2 grandchildren & then my husband finally told them we needed to leave. How long does it take to make nachos, Caesar salad & kids chicken nuggets. NO apologies from the staff on the terrible... More

Friends that live on the island suggested we go to LaMarina for dinner tonight. As soon as they suggested I remembered seeing the restaurant on No Reservations, so we said yes. I trust Anthony Bourdain. The place was fantastic. If you are of a certain age you remember every tiki bar you ever saw on tv or were lucky enough... More
