Aloha spirit found here

Came out here for a wedding and we found ourselves driving around, looking for a place to have breakfast. Of course, the Yelp app comes in handy and we found ourselves here. They are located in a small strip mall, but unlike the ugly ones on the mainland, this one is pretty nice. They have an... read more

Breakfast. That's what you eat here. Lunch menu, forget it. Come back at breakfast or keep walking. The menu is amazing, all kinds of awesome omelets to choose from. Don't miss the eggs benedict, they are AWESOME. Don't be fooled by other reviews. One thing to remember in Hawaii, you are in Hawaii!!! Not pick your town California or France.... More

I had eggs benedict and coffee this morning. Although "gourmet coffee" is advertised, I found it average. The eggs and sauce were tasty, however, it seemed like they used burnt toast rather than English muffins. And the dish was ala carte--no sides included. Only a fork was provided, so it was difficult to eat the sauce.

I saw that this place had good veggie options (even though the reviews were quite old) and was staying nearby so went for lunch - the smoothies were good, the food slow & unexciting. In short, good to grab a smoothie from and take out, but don't venture here for the food & end up sitting in a strip mall... More

Every time we come to Honolulu we love to come to Mocha Java Cafe for breakfast. This is where we had our first acai bowl. My favorite is the power bowl. It has sliced bananas, granola, and blended acai and strawberries. This is a cold dish, the acai and strawberries are frozen. It is light and refreshing. There menu is... More

Our party of four had lunch here on the 6 June 2012. I had a Club BLT. My traveling partners had a Chicken Dijon sandwich & 2 Chicken Avocado sandwiches. All of the sandwiches were very nice but in saying that they where not cheap. Quality comes at a price. There is local coffee available to drink & purchase ground... More

The vegtabe barley soup was very good as were the eggs Benedict, even for dinner. The crepes looked great.

Customers are first..... I went there to study with some friends, I wanted to show them the atmosphere... and introduce them to the coffee, because we are always studying at other coffee companies... we waited for service for about 10 mins.... the barIsta was no where to be found... she was eating, while talking on her cell phone.... then later... We stopped at Mocha Java after a day of snorkeling at Hanauma Bay, and it turned out to be our favorite place to eat on the island. If you're looking for something refreshing, you have to try the acai bowl energy bowl. The seared grilled chicken salad is to die for and the pancakes are perfect. This is a healthy... More
