Need breakfast a meal en route to the airport? New Eagle is a decent option. Large portions for moderate prices mean a good value. Last stop at New Eagle was for breakfast: the eggs benedict were done just right, and also available in a half (one egg) portion. My colleague had a large platter... read more

This is an old-established, comfort food restaurant with American and Japanese menu. It's a rare place that offers a real Japanese breakfast. It usually offers acceptable to even good-tasting meals. Maybe because it was a late lunch, but my broiled ono fish was dry. The butter caper sauce was congealed. The mashed potato was blandly tasteless. Service took a long... More

New Eagle Cafe isn't as good as it was when the original owners ran the place. I've eaten here a couple of times since the new owners took over and I walked out of there very disappointed. The food lacked taste, was oily and wasn't a pleasant experience. I rarely leave food on my plate and I couldn't finish my... More

Nice place at a great price. With Hawaii being expensive it is nice to find the hole in the wall spots at reasonable prices. Service was quick and friendly.

The saimin they serve hits the spot if you want a soup and noodle dish for lunch. It includes slices of meat, vegetables, and some green garnish like green onions or cilantro. My lunch partners had the special of the day (each day has a different variety of dishes) and a sandwich. The portions are huge, the food is really... More

I've been coming here for years before it was renovated. Its a great family restaurant and has a nice comfortable feel to it. There's something for everyone on the menu, my kids usually get the Yakitori Chicken from the Keiki menu its a big portion and very tasty, they also love "green river" which is hard to find nowadays and... ...cooking, we enjoy New Eagle. The menu is extensive with daily specials. Portions are generous. Some favorites are ox tail soup, chopped steak, pork cutlet, beef stew, deep fried oysters and scallops. Homemade biscuits on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Try their double-crusted banana pie aka mode. Waitresses are fantastic. Service is quick.

Very delicious food. Good price. Nice clean establishment with warm friendly service. I purchased a Living Social voucher, looking for something near the airport. We will definitely be back.

Went to the New Eagle Cafe today for breakfast. Was good the place is clean and the service good. My wife had the French Toast with 1 egg and Ground beef patty. Good size patty cooked well and egg was cooked as she ordered it. It was only 3 1/2 slices of FT but she said she was full. I... More

This was a Group-On deal. They have daily specials. The Saimin is the BEST deal. Prices are high but large portions. It is very cold inside - bring jacket. The menu is a book with variety of local foods. Service is great. It is a nice stop to grab a meal, meet friends, before you head to the airport.
