If you like Manapua as much as I do, this place is an absolute must. The Royal Kitchen is in a class of its own. I love bake Manapua. They have all kine. Can't visit outer islands without a few dozen. I grab 3, 1st dozen is mine.

OMG, run down to Maunakea Street and park on the street (legally at a meter) and venture to the Cultural Plaza on the canal side to Royal Kitchen. They have the manapua to die for! I had never tasted Black Sugar before and now I am hooked! Pork Hash is very good there too. Wash it down with an Island... More

The food was good. We got Kahlua Pig, vegeterian, and Char sui manapuas and Saimin. We were visiting my sister, and had read reviews on tripadvisor & Yelp and had heard good things about the food. What we didn't know was how bad the local area was. There are tons of homeless people, and going by ones self or with... More

The only thing we ate here were the manapuas as we had been told by locals that this was their specialty. We tried the char sui, Kailua pig, and the sweet potato manapuas. All very tasty, but preferred the "meat" ones. The Hawaiian sweet bread was a great twist on the traditional manapua. Great value, great manapuas!

This is a great place to try. It is much like a kolache except that the bread is 10x better. The sweet Hawaiian bread makes this a great dish. We tried the Portuguese sausage, the Kailua Pig and another pork that had a sweeter taste, I just don't remember the name. The pig was the best and the Portuguese sausage... More

Great baked char sui bao manapua and pork hash for snacking! Reasonably priced plate lunches. Good roast pork, shoyu chicken, and roast duck sides.

I don't make manapua at home because of the amount of work it takes. Consequently, I appreciate that cheap dim sum of any kind comes at the price of exploited workers. The manapua at the Royal Kitchen are tasty, but they are not cheap. I hope that means that the workers get a wage more in keeping with the amount... More

A very popular place for baked manapuas! Tried the Portuguese sausage and it was to die for - highly worth the trip!
