Always a great experience!

We've been to several Roy's around the country and never disappointed. Roy's Kai is the original restaurant and is still a wonderful place for a great meal experience. Although Roy's can become pricey if you are not careful, they offered a great three course prix fixe meal for $42, which my wife... read more

Went here for my father's 60th birthday dinner and was not disappointed. It is a large space, but I would still recommend making a reservation. The view from every seat in the restaurant is spectacular and the dishes are divine. I highly recommend the butterfish and pork.

Great food (but expensive), location OK, but not great (no view). Be careful about being seated outside across from the Denny's -- feels like you are in an alley.

Wait staff was very quick and professional. Food was excellent and well prepared. The Prix Fixe menu selection included the most decadent molten chocolate dessert! Yum!

Menu changes daily based on availability of local ingredients. Here's are some items you might see on your visit: Prix Fixe appetizer plate includes Blackened Ahi, Chicken Spring Roll with Maui pineapple sweet and sour chili sauce, Kiawe Wood Smoked Szechuan Spiced Baby Back Rib, and Mini Hawaii Kai Style Crispy Crab Cake with spicy sesame butter sauce. Beautifully seared... More

Our party of 8 was seated and served (with no reservations) with expert precision. No long waits for food or drink. All orders correct. The food ranged from good to excellent. The only mis- step was the crusted Ahi which was okay but served better at a small poke take out in the same center.

Wonderful dinner. Can recommend the macadamia encrusted fish and the short ribs. Both are excellent. The chocolate soufflé is terrific. Staff are professional, attentive, friendly and helpful. This location has a more open feel and is less hectic than Roy's Waikiki. This is also Roy's original location.

My son and I enjoyed a sampling of several appetizers as our meal last night. He loved the ahi tuna, fire dragon, and short ribs. I thought the wedge salad and crab cakes were delicious. We shared every decadent bite of the yummy chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream. For a quieter dining experience, sitting on the small patio is... More

A big thank you to the Manager Zameer and to our server, IkeIke, for a wonderful experience at Roy's Hawaii Kai. We thoroughly enjoyed the outside patio location and caught the sunset while sipping delicious drinks made by a friendly, bubbly bartender, Whitney. The guava lemonade was outstanding and refreshing on a warm evening. The Hawaian martini was smooth and... More

Roy's continues to evolve and stay fresh with new and innovative selections thanks to Executive Chef Chris Garner. Being a local I appreciate the warn and " Aloha Service" that is provided on every visit. Mahalos to General Mgr. Zameer Mallal for " Five Star Service" from every member of the staff.
