Went on Friday and they were empty, and claimed to be out of several items on the menu.. Ya gotta be kidding me Friday lunch at 1:00 and only the wait staff were sitting eating, and it was out of Tupperware, obliviously from home.. Our first clue, but it did not sink in. I had the Shepherds pie... read more

Went for dinner our last night in Hawaii. Saw it on TV saying the best Irish Pup in Honolulu. It was very good. The pot roast was so tender and amazing. Everyone love what they ordered. The Rib, Chicken, we loved everything...

I was volunteering at the Sony Open and Don Murphy, owner of Murphy's Bar & Grill was giving away complimentary corn been and cabbage sliders. I'm not a big fan or corn been but I tried one and it was like butter melting in your mouth. It was almost a shame to chew it because I was sure it would... More

You feel like you are in Ireland when sitting at the bar. All the walls and ceiling are covered in memorabilia. The extensive list of beers on tap will delight the best of the best taste buds. All the classic dishes prepared on request, nothing frozen or microwaved. The Sheppards Pie was made with large tender chunks of Lamb and... More

There's probably a restaurant like Murphy's in every town in America. It's the local restaurant you go to for a great meal and to get good value for your money. The wait staff and the bartenders know their jobs very well and treat you right. That's a rarity these days. The owner Don Murphy is a pillar of the community.... More

Stopped in for a pint of Guinness. Ended up with the open faced turkey sandwich. My wife had an appetizer big enough for a meal. Friendly staff great service. Reasonable priced food for Hawaii, and Irish food no less, worth the stop for sure.

Irish beers combined with american pub food. Bar waiters are professional which is rare. Good social athmospere, you meet people and talk. I can`t rate the restaurant, I always took the food at the bar. If you are going for an Irish beer and an American burger or other bar food - go for it

I went here because this place was on Diners, Drive-ins & Dives. It did not disappoint. Inside you will think that your in a pub in the Northeast. Its a complete ambiance from the servers to the menu. Good portions, great taste, but you need to park on the street (meters)but after 6 pm it free...

Toward the end of our trip when all of the island food and drinks is starting to taste the same its nice to go back to the roots to reset. This made our day. Played some shuffle board, had some whiskey , beer, and potato skins. This is actually one of the nicest Irish bars i've been in. It has... More
