Toward the end of our trip when all of the island food and drinks is starting to taste the same its nice to go back to the roots to reset. This made our day. Played some shuffle board, had some whiskey , beer, and potato skins. This is actually one of the nicest Irish bars i've been in. It has... More

We ordered fries as appetizer and it has taken 40 minutes to receive it. It is 5 pm local time and how can one justify taking 40 minutes to deep fry fries? No word or apology from the waitress except a refill on water...food was average but the service was truly aweful.

As a Honolulu resident this restaurant has become the Family's favorite! In addition to regular visits, it is now a tradition to stop by Murphys anytime I return from a trip outside the islands. The food is delicious, reasonably priced and the wait staff are all very cordial and they live the Aloha Spirit. We know the wait staff by... More

We stopped to have lunch at this downtown Honolulu restaurant and were treated to a great lunch! The rib steak was good and the Irish dip was delicious. Also, don't miss the Bloody Mary, one of the besame I ever had!

A typical Irish pub as found in the States. Guinness and Smithwicks on tap, a good bar crowd, a nice menu with a few traditional Irish dishes (I would like to see more) and a good staff. Very relaxed atmosphere where you can relax over your pint and enjoy the pictures of Ireland that decorate the walls.

Walked to this fine restaurant from our relatives condo. Wonderful restaurant with an extremely friendly staff (Laura was awesome)! Ordered the Asian Chicken salad and it was the best I have ever had. All of the ingredients complimented one another. A wonderful choice for dinner for all 5 of us dining.

We were very happy with the food here, attractive place and nice service staff. My husband loved the shepherd's pie made with chunks of lamb. Another time we had the big, juicy burgers with Bass Ale ( and many others available) on tap. The real treat was dessert, a chocolate pot de creme which was amazing, rich, dark and creamy.... More

Very friendly place with a great selection of beer. The food is what sets this place apart from most Irish Pubs. friendly people at the bar and the bartenders make you feel at home.

While I only had lunch, I find Murphy's to be completely charming and mostly satisfying. Some traditional fare one would expect but also quite a few fresh specials and healthier choices. The service is excellent and there's plenty of TV screens to keep you updated on sports scores. A fine choice at the intersection of downtown and Chinatown.

This has been, and always will be one of my favorite bars on Oahu, and THE favorite Irish pub hands down for both my hubby and I. I have been a patron of Murphy's since I could drink, have gone each year to the fantastic St. Patrick's Day bash they throw as part of the block party downtown Honolulu (Don,... More
