While I only had lunch, I find Murphy's to be completely charming and mostly satisfying. Some traditional fare one would expect but also quite a few fresh specials and healthier choices. The service is excellent and there's plenty of TV screens to keep you updated on sports scores. A fine choice at the intersection of downtown and Chinatown.

This has been, and always will be one of my favorite bars on Oahu, and THE favorite Irish pub hands down for both my hubby and I. I have been a patron of Murphy's since I could drink, have gone each year to the fantastic St. Patrick's Day bash they throw as part of the block party downtown Honolulu (Don,... More

You need to get in the door before noon if you expect to get seated quickly. A wide variety menu, from salads to shepherd pie to corned beef and cabbage. Nothing I had was exceptional, but nothing has been bad either. Service is very good. The hostess is consistently awesome. Murphy does so much for the community and UH sports,... More

Visited on a Wednesday at 1145. It was already packed for lunch. Appeared to be mostly business people. Had a delicious burger ( hadn't had one for months). Ordered fries crispy & was served that. Tap beer selection was very limited with St. Patricks Day less than a week away. Under normal circumstances, they have a great selection. Wait staff... More

We visit Hawaii every year and Murphy's is a must do and more than once. Don't know which I like best, food or the Murphy's and their employees. Great place.

I have been to several different Irish Pubs in cities across the country. When my wife and I walked into Murphy's, we were greeted with a different sort of atmosphere. It was quiet and a very pleasant restaurant. We stuck our heads into the bar area (and got some ideas of how we want to set up our home bar),... More

We've been here for dinner in the past but tonight we decided to stop into the bar for a drink. The bartender was awesome and the drinks were fabulous! We always enjoy Murphy's and tonight was no exception! It wasn't crowded and just had a very relaxed vibe.

This is one of my very favorite restaurants in Honolulu. I'm a little embarrassed to say I go at least once a week and if I have my choice, the day I go is Friday. On Friday they have an offering of 3 or 4 home made pies and/or cheesecakes (the lilikoi cheesecake is like a little slice of heaven,... More

are a colourful lot. I saw a sign in a local Irish Pub that read: It is because of alcohol that the Irish don't rule the world LOL. When I was in Krabi, Thailand I noticed a ubiquitous Irish pub across the street from our hotel. I commented to a member of the tour group, who happened to be Irish,... More
