Hoku's has always been a local favorite. Known for high end dishes and outstanding servce, this dinner did not disappoint. I do remember the food to be better a few years ago, it's not bad, but not as good as I recall (reason I gave above average versus excellent rating). I will be harsh. I loved the Kahala and was very disappointed with Hokus. The service was fine, but the food was bland and unoriginal.
