Excellent food and service

We recently went to Hoku's with a party of 8. Among us we had a little bit of everything from the menu and everything was perfect. The fish was fresh and prepared very well. The wine was a bit pricey even for restaurant pricing. The service was good and the views are one of the best on East... read more

On our first return together to our favorite brunch spot in Kahala, the Hoku was a welcomed diversion from our first choice of Plumeria. The beach level dining room, Plumeria downstairs, was booked solid with a very long waiting list. As it turned out, the staff at Hoku seated my wife and me at a corner table overlooking the dolphin... More

My family had a really great dinner at Hokus. The fish was fresh, the sushi was sublime and the service was attentive. It is pricey but good for special occasion or splurge.

One of my very favourite places! Best rack of lamb I´ve had in my life - Easy to pair it with its great wine selection - Worth all the pennys you´ll pay!

The servers were stressed and literally running through the Resturant. Dished were staked on random tables, had to ask them to remove them so my husband didn't have to sit with them over his shoulder. Food was good, changed little'over the years though. Tables by the window are great if it's light out, doesn't matter at night since little is... More

The staff here were excellent, prompt and polite. The food (we ordered two different set menus) was also brilliantly presented. The atmosphere at night is wonderful, and little touches are apparent, like all the tables have enough light to read your menu comfortably, but the room itself is kept a lot dimmer. It is one of the more expensive locations... More

First evening when we arrived from Europe we had dinner at the Hoku's. Very attentative service, our son aged 3 fell asleep during the first course, that was no problem. The food was delicous, maybe the last touch to a truely unforgetable meal was missiging but still very much recommended.

We went here for dinner as we were staying at the hotel and had heard good things about this restaurant. It did not disappoint! We had the price fix menu which was a great deal, and all the food was excellent. I especially loved the dessert - and I'm not a dessert person. Bravo!

The seafood tower is delicious. The pork and mushroom risotto is delicious. The chocolate lava cake and ice cream is very good. The restaurant is noisy and makes it difficult to make conversation. I had to ask the wait staff to speak louder. I requested India to be our waiter and she was not available due to a private party... More
