The food was really good, the wait staff excellent and the ambience is great. Really glad we went there for dinner one night. :)

Just average restaurant. Food was ok, not in the same class as some of the other nicer restaurants in Waikiki. Even though dress code says trousers for men, it was not strictly enforced. We saw some in shorts. Just drive or take a cab for much better choices a few miles outside.

The service was excellent at the top restaurant at the Kahala, but unfortunately the food was not good. The fish dish was over salted and mediocre. It did not match the high price

Touted as a a very high-end fusion restaurant. It is not. The decor is modern, but the place is horribly noisy, to the extent that casual conversation is almost impossible. Then, there is the food: ordinary and geared to the oriental who loves soy sauce. And the price, unjustifiably high. A very disappointing dining experience.

When we made our reservation, we requested a "special" Hawaiian drink to celebrate an anniversary & they had them ready as soon as we sat down. They were served in individual pineapples complete w/ the pretty leafy tops & flowers! The food was delicious & artfully presented. The service top-notch. Since the restaurant sits on the ocean's edge, the view... More

The views from the tables are great. The service is impeccable. The food was perfect. We had a tuna poke appetizer that was phenomenal. Crispy rice to perfection and so much to eat. The sushi was top grade. My red snapper special with coconut rice was excellent. Highly recommend! On par or better with any top notch NYC restaurant.

First, the decor...the restaurant is lovely, well designed and offers many terrific tables with views. The chef has created an interesting and eclectic menu with something for everyone that enjoys fresh fish and well executed pairings. We enjoyed the 5 course celebration menu. Our favorite course was the beautiful foie gras served on a delicious, perfectly cooked steak with the... More

This was a very nice place for brunch. The food was top notch. Lobster and crab legs were my main attraction. Sushi and sashimi were good as well.

With such high prices, we expected a certain level of service and food. Instead the service was indifferent meaning there was no genuine effort to make us feel welcomed and important. Dirty plates remained on the table and water glasses stayed empty way too long. Food was average to good - we got the seafood tower and a salad. No... More
