This is a favorite. Our server, India, remains the most consistent and attentive server. She makes the evening, always has solid recommendations and recalls some of our drink preferences. The evening was magical. Hotel was ful but most guests seemed to be enjoyed banguet dining which made our evening even nicer. Cheers to Hoku's for making our mini-celebration another winner.

We're locals, living in Hawaii Kai. Moved here from gorgious Las Vegas last year...just for a short time. We had stayed here many years ago, when it was part of the Mandarin Oriental chain. It no longer is...and we can see why. Pulled up to the hotel and there were only 2 cars being valeted. We waited...and waited...and finally, someone... More

We - a group of friends - arrived at the restaurant. Prior to making reservations we had our concierge call to check about attire. We specifically wanted to know about wearing shorts - dress shorts. This is Hawaii at is warmest time, no jeans for me. We were assured by the concierge that shorts could work. Sad to say ...... More

Nice bar and interior ambiance. They were not yet serving their own brews. Soon I hope as I wasn't too impressed with what they had on tap. However, the Key lime pie was great!

The recommendation to eat here was great. Can you emailed traveling with someone with shellfish allergies and they still went out of their way to please. I had the shellfish! Anyway both meals were highly suggest since the Hoku's fish wasn't available. Another great choice including the wine. Great atmosphere.

Hoku's is beyond anything I've ever eaten. It is truly amazing food. We first went on our honeymoon 8 years ago and I was completely blown away. I still haven't eaten anything close to it to this day.

What a brunch! We dined on such a huge variety of items including shrimp, lobster, crab and many other items both hot and cold. My wife and daughter especially liked the bread pudding on the dessert table. While not inexpensive at $90 a person, it was memorable! I highly recommend it!

We dined at Hoku's our first night in Honolulu on a 4 night visit to the Kahala Hotel. After a short afternoon of watching the porpoises in the hotel lagoon, we conveniently walked to Hoku's from our room. We were seated at a table on the window overlooking the beach. The restaurant was elegant and tranquil. The service was warm... More

This is a very cool space, right on the ocean, with wonderful food! I had an appetizer called the Ahi Musubi that was out if this world; if you're not too hungry, it would make a great entree dish too. We tried several different things and were surprised at how good they all were, despite being somewhat diverse types of... More

The restaurant has a great view and the cocktails are creative and refreshing. The fish was ok, probably a bit overcooked.
