Beyond our highest expectations!

Such a cute little restaurant specializing in Vietnamese food with French inspiration. The main dishes are served family style and I can say the Saigon Beef and Saffron Rice are wonderful. We didn't save room for dessert but they've got some good French style desserts like flan, sorbet, and crime brûlée.

the owner & staff were so helpful and kind that that itself would make me want to go back. however, I would have to say the food was average. I had the green papaya salad, water spinach & garlic, and lemongrass chicken w/ saffron rice. I eat green papaya salad everywhere I go & this one was no different from... More

Great food and excellent value. Best to order seveal dishes and share family style. Start w appetizers and then entrees. End w dessert. We eat here several times so we get to taste everything on the menu.

It had been a while since we had eaten at Duc's Bistro. It was my friend Jim's turn to choose a restaurant and he chose Duc's Bistro. We had a party of 13 friends and the service we received for such a large group was fantastic. We chose to each order an entree and share it "Family Style". Everything was... More

The owner and his wife personally greeted us and went over the menu. Their recommended choices: Saigon beef, fish wtth caper sauce, sauteed string beans and home made truffle pate are excellent. Will definitely come back.

While looking for lei's in Chinatown, we happened upon this little Bistro. After looking at the menu, we thought we'd try out Duc's Bistro. We were not disappointed. It is very small, with nicely set tables, and were greeted with a very warm and welcoming owner and staff. Once given the menus we were told about the specials. I was... More

My family and I were greeted by the owner and staff as we entered their small but roomy space. The server spoke well and clearly. What I liked was that after he announced the specials, he offered a summary. The service was top-notch. The drinks were special and delightful, the appetizers, especially the Green Papaya Salad, were wonderful and our... More

My very first taste of escargot was at Duc's and from there my entire dining experience was delightful to the finale dessert of espresso Kona coffee with ice cream. We enjoyed thoroughly the tailored menu Duc and his son served us, and the fusion of Asian and French really impressed. Absolutely must book for a high quality dinner with careful... More

I am on island this week for work and a customer suggested this. He was spot on. The appetizers, meals, staff were excellent. Felt very local and personal. Duc (the owner) stops by all the tables and greats as well as takes orders along with the staff. We had an amazing experience from the pate, mango salad, local fish special,... More
