Lovely food in a charming restaurant with friendly, personable service. We had the Vietnamese chicken salad, the crispy Basa with green mango and Steak Saigon with a side of saffron rice. All beautifully prepared and highly recommended! The dessert of Kona coffee cream and the creme brûlée were lovely too. Duc's is one of our two favorite restaurants in Honululu and... More

We had only one night in Honolulu and went back to Ducs where we had dined last year. Duc and his family are wonderful and the food is divine. I recommend the crab cakes, crispy spring rolls apple pie and Madame Wu's special cocktail. The ambiance of the restaurant is great. Highly recommended

Had lunch at Duc's Bistro in Chinatown Honolulu, Hawaii on our last trip in April. Absolutely fantastic food and owner Duc and his son and all the staff are awesome. Had the Spring Rolls, Black Truffle Pate, Papaya Salad, Basso Neroli and Ginger Cheesecake (made by Madame Vu) and it was all awesome. Have a Madame Vu's the signature house... More

A gem of a place we would never have found if it hadn't been for a friend who took us there. Outstanding experience, outstanding food!!! Everything was simply delicious....I would go back in a heartbeat! Only one thing bad....it's not in Florida where I live!

I can't tell you how many time we have gone to Duc's. Its family run, the wife waits tables, Duc cooks and its been there for years. Prices are ok, food is excellent, service is outstanding and there is a parking lot right across the street. The cheesecake is outstanding. Not only do we stop for dinner but on other... More

Duc's Bistro (Pronounced something in-between duck and duke) was where my husband and I spent this Christmas Eve dinner. And, what a wonderful Christmas Eve it was! The owner Mr "Duc" Nguyen is kind, funny, eccentric and was a pleasure to meet. I felt honoured to have met him and dined in his restaurant along with his loyal customers. The... More

Really, where to start? If you like vietnamese food, you'll disapointed here. Ok, the fried springrolls were pretty classis as well as the green papaya salad. And if you love French food, you'll want to kill the cook at this place. Extremely small potions, talking appetizer sized, served family style. Perhaps to tiny vietnamese these would be family style but... More

If you haven't been to Duc's Bistro, what are you waiting for! The ever charming Duc, greeted us at the door and helped us navigate the menu...his recommendations were delicious, as I imagine most everything else on the menu, would be as well. Duc's is now added to the rotation, of favorite places to dine, while visiting Oahu!

We were greeted by Duc himself when we entered the small, intimate dining room. He is very personable and made us feel like honored guests. The food is wonderful, and the portion sizes are perfect. We had the lamb tenderloin, and the braised basa (a Vietnamese fish): both unusual, flavorful, and handsomely presented. We just loved the experience. It is... More
