I live 35 miles away, and eat here at least once a month. It is simply the best food at the best price in Honolulu. The chicken souvlaki is delicious, especially when paired with hummus and an extra greek salad -- I just wish they would bottle their dressing! Don't miss the fresh tomatoes if they have them. If you... More

Olive Tree Cafe delivers a quality product at higher than mainland prices. It has a limited menu so what they do, they do well. Nothing is particularly creative or unusual here but it is always consistent and tasty. You are also treated with respect and the owner is on site, all the time. Having said that, its as if Honolulu... More

Parking is limited, table space s cramped, street traffic is noisy--but don't let that keep you away from the tasty Greek food at the Olive Tree Café. Order at the counter and listen for your name to be called. It's a small menu at this family owned business where everything is very fresh and every item tastes great. Olive Tree... More

We went for dinner at a Greek Place, The Olive Tree. It is beside the Kahala Mall. We took the 23 bus directly, there. We got there a few minutes before their 5 PM opening time. There were several people waiting for the the doors to open. We picked out our table on the lanai & sat down to wait. By... More

This is by far our favorite Greek restaurant on Oahu. We always order the falafels, though everything is good. Having the Oliver wine store next door is a plus. You buy your wine and take it to Olive Tree Cafe. It's excellent because the meal is great with a bottle of wine. Now that it's a popular place it isn't... More

Not sure what the fuss is about! The hummus was good, but the pita served with it was dry and over cooked like a cracker. It was pretty busy, so the service was slow but when the food came it was nothing special. The usual kebab with a slap of salad.

My favorite cafe in Honolulu! Authentic Greek food, the best Avgolemono soup you'll ever have! Everything on the menu is onolicious. Self serve, Cash only, BYOB Don't worry about the small stuff, it's worth it. Opa!

The food is consistently excellent. Forgot to mention there is liquor store next door so can buy & bring in. Parking can be found in kahala mall or McDonald's. Superior people watching while waiting. Once the food is in front of you all else fades.

This was recommended by a local resident and I found to to be well worth the visit. This is a Greek restaurant about 10 minutes from Waikiki center. You order your meal at the counter and try and find a table. There are a few inside and about a dozen outside. We shared a table with another couple and had... More

Greek/Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food. A friend from Hawaii recommended this place to us when we were traveling, and we made a point to go there due to her enthusiasm. It was not misplaced. Surprisingly excellent food. We just couldn't stop ordering more! We wanted some of this and some of that and some of those... and more of this because it's... More
