Great authentic Hawaiian food. Reasonably priced. Just a dive but clean, fast, and great food. I'm easy-just Kalua Pig and rice for me every time. Great for take out. I get take out and bring it to the beach for a picnic. I've even stopped on the way to the airport and bring it on board to eat as a... More

Very close to the action of Waikiki, ONO Hawaiian foods is excellent. Their boneless beef ribs were amazing - so tasty and tender. I really enjoyed the lau lau, lomi lomi, and of course that beef and kalua pork. In fact, I feel it edged out Helena's Hawaiian food in terms of flavor. Try it and see.

Use to come here when I was in college and I am so glad it hasn't changed any. Especially the food, this is a place I would recommend to people that wish to experience real Hawaiian food. Bring cash cause they don't take credit cards. The only down side to the place is finding parking. But trust me the food... More

We went here to try the authentic hawaiian food, and we were not dissapointed. The owner is very nice and helpful. Not only go for profit but really to give information and introduce hawaiian food. We tried the combination plate and more than enough for 2 person Price reasonable The best authentic Hawaiian food we have tried so far.

Now I know why both the Travel Channel and the Food Network people have all gone there...Appearances can absolutely be deceiving as you would never think this place would be special by the way it looks from the street...but it absolutely is! Grab a bus and head over for a late lunch...you won't be sorry you did.

Heard about this restaurant from a local and had to give it a go. Really glad we did. Just a small family restaurant and the food was absolutely delicious. Step away from the fancy places right down in Waikiki - just a bit of a walk away- and enjoy,

This is a quirky restaurant, little bit further away from Waikiki area. However, the food is very authentic and the staff (who are family) are very friendly and will help you through interesting food that you have not heard of before. Consult the wait staff when you order food.

I understand the reviews...Ono is way tasty with a Hawaiian vibe. Standard Hawaiian foods, served in a casual atmosphere. Usually a line but it moves quickly. Food servers will explain the foods and how to eat. Really cool Mx of locals and tourists. Not cheap but well worth it--figure $20 per. Easy walking distance from anywhere on the Waikiki strip.... We stooped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised to have been seated so quickly (party of 7). The food was excellent and the staff courteous and helpful.
