The restaurant is a tiny little place amidst all of these fast food chain restaurants, so it can be easy to miss it. It's a family owned business that seems to always be busy. Thankfully, we went around 5pm and were lucky enough to get a table (no reservations, it's a first come, first serve basis). There is a bench... More

So I travel to Oahu a lot and when I do I make it a point to go to Onto Hawaiian Food. No, I HAVE to go there. I love their food. It is authentic Hawaiian food. My favorites are the chicken long rice, kalua pork, chicken luau and their lau lau which is as big as your head! Now... More

Don't judge a book by its cover. This place is not "attractive" in looks, but its food and service are "KILLER." You have to wait outside if the place is full, but do wait, it will be worth your time. Great authentic hawaiian food and a welcoming atmosphere. If I ever am back in town, I will eat here at... We went to Ono's on our trip in September. It had been highly recommend by our taxi driver, I had also read about it on Trip Advisor. We had an excellent meal. The menu was explained to us and when the food was delivered the owners wife explained the way we should eat . The meal was excellent. We were... More

Went at the opening so that we could get a table and try the lau lau which they are known for. It was delicious and also recommend the chicken long rice

For authentic Hawaiian food like LauLau, LomiLomi and Kalua Pig, give this play a go. Right on Kapahulu, but the only bad thing is trying to find a parking place. Cab yes, rental no. And they do take out, but no LauLau, sorry. They got a complaint that it was too hot, and the stupid person burned their mouth. Too... More

Awesome Hawiian food served in lovely homely environment by welcoming staff. We had the shredded kailua pork with rice and purple sweet potato. The kids and i loved it so much we cleaned the bowl. Good portion sizes for hungry boys! Make sure part of your Hawiian experience included Ono's

When I'm in the mood for Hawaiian food, I like to head over to Ono Hawaiian Foods... I usually end up taking my order to go since it's a small place, and I've learned over the several times I've been there that I'm gonna focus on the Laulau (that's pork with some fish wrapped and cooked in leaves, btw -... Ono was recommended by a local as the best example of Hawaiian food. We were not disappointed. The serving size was generous and all of us ended up with a take home container. I look forward to the next visit.

Me and my family wanted to try some of Ono's famous Hawaiian food. We got there kinda late but asked if it was ok for us to order some food being that it was close to closing. The guy at the counter told us to come on in. We all sat and menus were on the table, and then this... More
