You can walk here from the Hawaiian Village area hotels, the Ilikai or the Hawaiian Prince Hotels... I usually go here for the tremendous lunch buffet...everything is so tasty....In spite of some negative reviews this business must be doing something right because it's always full. Once again we had a great meal at Todai...we go everytime we are in Hawaii.

Todai Buffet is down the block from the Hilton Hawaiian Village, very easy to walk to. It is very comprehensive - a wonderful way to taste everything you might want to - from sushi to dumplings. Go there and enjoy.

Todai is the default birthday meal for me and my family when we are on Oahu. Why? Well, there are several reasons. For one, the selection of food is endless. There are several different buffets in this place. It is like the Golden Corral of Polynesia. If you enjoy traditional Hawaiian food, this is your place. If you like a... More

Seated @ 1:15 pm, the food was overcooked and waiting to die. The staff was getting hungry to eat the leftover hot food. The soup was still hot which is a plus. If you want a better food experience, go when they first open @ 11 am, not when everything is picked over. At 1 pm even the noodles were... More

Todai sushi place used to be a great place to eat. Our visit to the Honolulu Todai in February 6, 2014 was the the worst. The hot food was suppose to be hot, it was room temp and the sushi was not good. The carpet was so filthy. And the smell was horrible. Someone really need to inspect the place... More

I love seafood! So I was excited to finally hit up todai. We went on a weekend so there was a 20 minute wait. I don't know why though. Looking into the restaurant from the outside there were tables open but they weren't seating customers there. The food was not great. They have a sushi bar but more than half... More

We ate here the last time we were in Honolulu 7 years ago. It looks like the place has not been cleaned since our last visit. Don't stand in one place for too long or your shoes will be stuck to the carpet. The windows have a film of grease & dirt & there is a terrible odor to the... More

I've been to Todai-NYC, Todai-Little Neck, NJ and Todai-Honolulu. I rate Todai Honolulu the best in sushi and seafoods. There were other foods on the buffet table like soups, noodles, salads, fruits and desserts as well-all delish! Good value for a Todai and in Honolulu 'cuz everything is expensive in Hawaii.

We had visited this restaurant in times past and it had been a very good place. I don't know what happened if they are under new ownership or what, but it was not clean, employees were openly coughing and sneezing with out covering there mouths or washing their hands and the toilets in the womens bathroom were gurgling and spouting... We called at the restaurant on our second night in Oahu. There were six of us and we had just watched the fireworks at the Hilton Village - they were very good. We got there for about 8.45 and there was next to no one there. The restaurant serves a buffet style selection from Sushi, to Chinese to some European... More
