We used to live in Hawaii Kai and went to the shack regularly. We went back on a mini Oahu vacation for the nostalgia. Big. Mistake. It took our waitress 20 minutes to bring a round of drinks...even when we told her we were needing to leave for our flight within 45 minutes. Our beers arrived warm and ½ inch... More

This is a casual sports bar. It's right on the marina so there are views and tables on the water. The food is OK. Fresh fish, BBQ ribs, chicken sandwiches, pastrami Rueben. Their Philly cheesesteak is made with grilled ribeye and is very popular. But they started as a burger joint and that's what most people get. The food is... More

Right on the water over the marina at Hawaii Kai. Great selection of beer on tap and very economical to visit on "Thirsty Thursday" when the beer is a t a great price. Havn't tried the food yet but hear that is is good value for money.

The food sucks. There's plenty to drink and the price is good. Great location, and spacious interior. Go there and hang out. Early-morning Sunday to catch NFL games is great, with breakfast and specialty drinks.

The food at the Shack is dependable sports bar fare with plentiful portions and good quality. The location on the water is really what marks this as a place I return to whenever I am in town. Service is always good but if you are really lucky, you'll meet Shelby who is one of the most engaging, delightful young women... More

You cant beat The Shack for having a great location on the water. The food and drinks are pretty good too.

My family and I spent two weeks in Hawaii. We came to The Shack after hiking Koko Head one evening and were starving. We had Shelby who was an incredibly awesome waitress and got us our food fairly quickly. The second week Shelby wasn't working when we came in. The waitress we had was still nice and pretty good, just... More

My friends and I came here after a day of hiking Diamond Head and snorkelling at Hanauma bay. It did the job for some average fried food and pitchers of beer. Nice little spot. March 2011

My second time here at The Shack. I love the atmosphere, food, drinks, and itis right on the water. I had the pupu plate of wings, skins, and mozzarella sticks. Yum yum.

This local chain is all over the Island of Oahu. We motored into this location on our friends Zodiac after completing some scuba diving in the area. Prompt friendly service, and the lunch overall was very good. The lunch plates contained very large portions and were more food than we could eat. As with their other locations, this is more... More
