I visited this past weekend - it's football season..Same sentiments from other reviewers -- sticky tables, draft beer is suspect, go for bottles, smell of beer. Staff do a great job with what they have....Same dirty smelly bathrooms with holes in the walls.... I wish they would invest some money in this place because it has only gone downhill over... More

The white linen table cloths, the fine crystal stemware, gentle ocean breezes. I highly recommend the filet mignon with Maine lobster tail accompanied by truffled mashed potatoes and buttered heri coverts. Who the f@$k am I kidding...this is the Shack. It's a dive bar. The drinks are cheap, the food is fried and there is always a good mix of... More

For a burger joint, it's not that great. The tables are sticky and burgers are only mediocre... I'd rather go to Burger King. Nice view though.

The only thing special about this place, is sitting in the back by the boat dock. The menu is tired, and they were out of several items on the menu. The service is very slow, but friendly. The food is just ok. We live in the area, and only go there because there isn't that many choices in Hawaii Kai.... More

nothing to see here, cheap drinks and local people kinda divey. We were taken here by some locals after hanging out at another place. Crowd was not the greatest but I have to say our waitress was awesome and we kept commenting to each other how out of place she was with her surroundings. Someone needs to snap her up... More

This is a casual sports bar. It's right on the marina so there are views and tables on the water. The food is OK. Fresh fish, BBQ ribs, chicken sandwiches, pastrami Rueben. Their Philly cheesesteak is made with grilled ribeye and is very popular. But they started as a burger joint and that's what most people get. The food is... More

Right on the water over the marina at Hawaii Kai. Great selection of beer on tap and very economical to visit on "Thirsty Thursday" when the beer is a t a great price. Havn't tried the food yet but hear that is is good value for money.

The food sucks. There's plenty to drink and the price is good. Great location, and spacious interior. Go there and hang out. Early-morning Sunday to catch NFL games is great, with breakfast and specialty drinks.

The food at the Shack is dependable sports bar fare with plentiful portions and good quality. The location on the water is really what marks this as a place I return to whenever I am in town. Service is always good but if you are really lucky, you'll meet Shelby who is one of the most engaging, delightful young women... More

You cant beat The Shack for having a great location on the water. The food and drinks are pretty good too.
