This is the 2nd time we have visited this restaurant, and neither time have we been disappointed. The setting is impressive-right on a small stretch of beach which is quiet and offers fantastic sunset views. The staff are very knowledgeable about the menu, and their attention was just right without being intrusive. The menu offers a variety of options that would... More

Reserved a table 4 months in advanced and asked for window seating......boy did they deliver. We were right next to the beach with open air dining. We had an outstanding view of the sunset over the pacific. Watching folks play on the beach and outriggers coming in was relaxing. The food was great. I wish I would've splurged a bit... More

Okay, I'm dating myself. Robin Leach waxed poetic about this restaurant way back in the '80's and apparently it's been around since the '60's. We actually were guests of some friends we were visiting that have lived in Honolulu for 40 years. It's their favorite romantic restaurant for good reason. The setting is classic Hawaii. The open dining room is... More

We went to this establishment under a recommendation from a local resident that is a seafood distributor for all of the Hawaaiian islands. The food, service, atmosphere, and overall experience was on par or better than any restraunt I have ever had the pleasure of dining in. Live music with an Emmy award wining performer. Beautiful sunset from a waterfront... More

Michel's is always a favorite for a special occasion. The beachfront location is surely the most romantic dining site on all of Oahu. We most recently dined there for Thanksgiving dinner. Some in our party had the special turkey dinner with all the trimmings, highlighted by a pumpkin soufflé dessert. others opted for some of the usual favorites, such as... More

After great debate we finally booked Michel's for our 25th Wedding Anniversary meal, and so glad that we did, it is one of the most beautiful setting we could imagine and the food and service were both excellent, we even received a chocolate pudding complete with Anniversary decorations. Only thing we could comment negatively about was dress code not being... More

A hike if walking from Waikiki Beach. It gets dark pretty early in Hawaii, so we were walking in the dark...it didn't seem too safe. The food was pretty expensive for just okay taste. The service was great, but I think there are better places to eat for the price.

From the moment of our arrival the staff were very attentive. Were shown to the side entrance as if it were the main entrance as there is a step at the front and therefore not wheelchair friendly. Table open to the beach for amazing views. Service by Nathan was attentive with out being obtrusive. Food was delicious and innovative particularly... More

Seven of us celebrated two birthdays a few nights ago and we were all jazzed about dining at Michele's. The host was friendly and welcoming and unfortunately after that it was pretty much downhill. Our reservation was at 6:30 and the place was packed which probably accounted for the less than stellar service we expected from Michele's. He was busy... More
