This is a small restaurant and sometimes can get busy but the food is good, price is very reasonable. They do cater to vegetarian along with those meat eater. What I like best about this place is their chicken wings that dip in asian sauce. The wing is stuffed with ground pork, glass noodles and the price is very reasonable... More

We're from SF where the food scene is legendary - this place is amazing - pho has that "special" flavor - even the fresh spring roles were made exceptionally well. The herbs and spices a super fresh. Enjoy!

This is a nice Vietnamese restaurant in a neighborhood with lots of places to eat. They serve traditional Vietnamese food. The menu has many choices including appetizers, salads, soups, noodle dishes, pho, rice dishes, and hot pot, too. But it's not overwhelming and the wait staff is helpful. Everything is authentic Vietnamese and you can choose your heat. The pho... More

Food is tasty. I especially like the Pho with egg noodles. Spring Rolls come out piping hot, instead of cold pre-made. Clean place to have Vietnamese food. The servers are a little on the frosty side though.

A client who I do business with wanted to take me and my fetching wife out to dinner as an appreciation gift for helping them with some photography for a proposal. He suggested Hale Vietnam. As it's been years since we've been there I could only remember their tasty Pho. It all came back to me when our dishes arrived... More

My Vietnamese friend calls this place Haole Vietnam. It is very bland Vietnamese, mostly grilled. There are lots of small places that serve that type of Vietnamese food, but this is a nicer spot. Duc's in Chinatown is excellent, but French more than Vietnamese. My Vietnamese friend goes to Chinatown to eat at the small restaurants there. Much more authentic.

While discussing the various great eats with some friends that visit Oahu every winter, they told us that we HAD to try this restaurant in the Kaimuki district off 10th Avenue. Not wanting to disappoint our friends, we went for lunch and found good parking in the pay lot just off 10th, close to the restaurant. We parked in handicapped... More

A favorite of ours since we discovered it more than a decade ago, this popular Vietnamese restaurant features some of the best grilled dishes we have found anywhere, at very reasonable prices. The bun (vermicelli rice noodles topped with grilled or fried entree) I ordered this year was outstanding, topped with superb grilled pork. The "Vietnam plate" features regular rice,... More
