Best Brunch Ever!

Everything was fresh and delicious! Our server was a breath of fresh air. Didn't hurry us or make us feel unwelcome. Eggs Benedict were excellent and well prepared. There was so much goodness that we weren't able to try everything. We will have to return. Well worth the price.

Dining at Orchids seems like something from the movies. Guests dress up. The view is gorgeous, with iconic Diamond Head in the distance and soothing ocean waves close by. Gentle Hawaiian breezes waft through the open space. The décor is elegant and refined. Performers on a nearby lawn serenade those present with traditional music and dance. And the service is... The service was impeccable. Absolutely no faulting it. The food was nice, but it was a little flavourless. We had the scallop starter to share and the ravioli and roasted lobster for mains. The ravioli was divine- it was full of flavour. I am all about letting the natural flavours of seafood shine, but something on the side could have... More

Its a gorgeous location and the food is always of a very high standard. Can be a little pretentious sometimes. The staff have had a little attitude on a couple of occasions but in general high standards.

On our recent visit to Orchids, one of us had sashimi and the other had shrimp for an appetizer. Both were beautifully presented with additions that complemented them deliciously. For entrees, one of us had the sea bass, and the other had the steamed onaga. Again, both the flavors and the presentations were wonderful. For dessert, one of us had... More

This restaurant gets two thumbs up on everything that you would expect in fine dining. The food was expertly prepared and served with perfection. Hard to find a fault, even if I tried! This is a hotel that everyone in Honolulu should visit. We did not have a reservation and were still treated well. Right on the water.

The American breakfast is a great way to start the day. The coffee flows freely, there is a good portion size and the service is top quality. We did not wait long for our food but the setting is so gorgeous we would not have minded. Highly recommended.

Probably one of the best meals we have eaten in quite awhile. Service wonderful without hanging over your shoulder to take away plates. Placement and take away of plates, just as was written in the Book of Etiquette. The team worked effortlessly. Presentation and flavors were right on que. I had the Filet Mignon and my wife had the Shrimp... More

We had brunch 2 years ago so I expecting a fabulous meal. The pan seared sea bass was so overcooked that I needed a knife to cut it. Why didn't I sent it back? When our server warned me about the hot plate, why was my fish cold in the middle? What curtains? Our view was of the ocean but... More

The most scenic dinner! The restaurant is not only 5-star delicious, but the beautiful beach view and white curtained deck make the whole experience surreal.
