We had the tasting of the classics menu which allowed us to try many of their specialities. We love love loved the tomato soup and mini sandwich. The Coconut dessert was also insanely delicious. We both found the tasting portions really quite large and were way too full by the end of the meal. We did see some of the... More

We had dinner for 4. We had a few appetizers along with dinner and some wine. Every thing was very good. The service was excellent. The lamb chops were very expensive but very good. The poke balls appetizer was really good as well. The lobster lasagna rocked! We will probably go there again the next time we visit. Note, try... More

My husband and I decided to have a wedding in Hawaii, party of two, and decided to have our wedding dinner at this restaurant. The service was excellent, very professional, nice, and the food was delicious, fresh, and unique. Can't wait to go back one day!

When you celebrate a very special occasion you don't want to take chances on a place you haven't tried out before. You cannot go wrong here. The couple on our right was visiting from Vancouver and have been coming to the restaurant for the past five years. The couple on our left was from San Francisco and have been coming... More

We had a 6 o'clock seating for party of five and started out with cocktails and appetizers. The Poki-Pines won ton and Seafood Cakes were delicious. Da Bag was disappointing with several unopened clams. For the main course the Miso Butterfish and a special Lobster Lasagna were mouth melting goodness. Don't leave without sinking your teeth into The Coconut and... More

Recommended by a friend who lived in Hawaii. When I made reservations I mentioned it was my anniversary. They made up special menus with my husband aqnd my name honoring our anniversary. The 5 course dinner was superb. We enhjoyed our meal so much we ate there again before leaving the islands. A must if you are in Honolulu.

Food: B+ for food. Was good but nothing extraordinary. The quality of the food was above average, but not worth the hefty price tag. The meal for two with seven course fixed menu was $85 without wine. Dishes are small "sampler" portions. Although portions are small, by the end of the meal you do not walk away hungry, but not... We booked through Opentable and had a wonderful meal at Alan Wong’s. The service was excellent; prices are obviously higher than your usual restaurants but the quality of food and experience, ambience and service makes it absolutely worth it. We had the best seafood dish we have possibly ever had; and the desserts were extra special.

What else is there to say about Alan Wong's? I have not been here in 7 years and the quality remains top notch. Sit at the counter for a real food lovers treat and spring for the Chefs Tasting menu.

Alan Wong is a master. Great food and great service. We ordered a la carte. Excellent passion fruit margarita with a shot of the cold pressed lilikoi on the side. Loved the 'opihi shooter (like an ocean snail), and Da Bag was Ono! Small claims, imu Kalua pork, and broth steamed in a foil covered oven dish. Wow! Loved it... More
