Our party grew from 4 people to 14 people and the restaurant was able to accommodate us with friendly service. Upon arrival, could see it was a very popular restaurant with locals as well as tourists. Our waiter was very helpful in making suggestions from the menu, and he told us the best way to have a taste of everything... More

Overall, a great night. This is our second visit to this restaurant. My husband had the $85 dinner sampler which he said was outstanding. I always get the steak, which, this time, left much to be desired. The steak had a salad dressing like marinade which made it too salty. It came with a relish which was full of salt... More

Pricy but well worth it. The dessert was a real stand out. The Coconut was a coconut sorbet inside a dark chocolate shell with pieces of coconut on the outside. Different fruits decorated and it was amazing!!! Server was upbeat and knowledgeable. Definitely would recommend!

Very famous and the fusion cuisine is undoubtedly of good quality. A broken air conditioning (for some time, which makes one wonder why they haven't fixed it) jeopardized the experience. But we would probably return for a second chance.

Do the tasting menu, you will not be disappointed. Location is a bit off the beaten track, but that is a small nuisance. Remember to book.

This is a hidden secret in the back streets but what a find. If you don't have a booking them your in for a wait. The food is excellent and well presented and the waiting staff really know their trade. The wine list has a good choice too. And what you don't eat they put in their own specially named... More

Alan Wong's is the best restaurant in Hawaii (sorry Roy). From the time the elevator door opens, everything is superb. The servers are knowledgeable and attentive. The bar is very professional. The star is the food with delicious creative preparations. If you love great food, please try Alan Wong's

Very good mix of mainland and island fine dining culture and food. Service was flawless; probably best (maybe only?) wine we had on our trip. We were a party of four culinarians, all of who ordered the tasting menu with wine pairings. Everything was really quite good.
