Perfecto

We just enjoyed one of the best meals we've ever had. Loved the ambience, service was impeccable We both had the prix fix tasting menu and my husband had the wine pairing. Each course was unique, delicious and beautifully presented. The wine was perfect as well. Highly recommend!

This restaurant is pricey, but worth every penny. it is very fancy and dress is usually formal. The staff is great, and the food is outstanding!!!!!!!!

While the location is an office building, everything else about Alan Wongs is phenomenal. Attentive wait staff, knowledgeable sommelier and great food makes this a must stop for me. My wife and I settled in for a nice, leisurely dining experience and that is what we got. A nice bottle of wine was ordered while we perused the menu. The... More

We sat at the kitchenside chefs table for a memorable evening of wonderful food and were fascinated watching the busy kitchen prepare gourmet meals. The whole Lin hing tomato appetizer was excellent. Every presentation detail was attended to with care and flair. Worth the splurge!

I am biased due to my dietary limitations (celiac and seafood allergies) and I know my family and friends LOVED their dishes, so I am representing a minority vote- my food was just ok.... The tomato starter was average, my steak as well. My husband and daughter had shrimp and clam pasta dish which they say was excellent, also the... More

Why is it that President Obama and family often visit Alan Wong's? It's the food and presentation, baby! The food is always delicious. I've never ordered anything in all of my years it's been in business that tasted mediocre. I especially like the desserts, but lately, it hasn't been the same since Michelle 0f (M&W Restaurant) left as his dessert/pastry... More

Alan Wong's is one of those special places you go to when you want a very special meal, and experience. Alan speaks to all of your senses as part of your dining delight. The service is unbeatable attentiveness. You feel like you are the only one/ones in the room. I must admit that it is expensive and prepare to pay... More

Wife and I had a great dinner here, but not the best restaurant experience for us for the week in Waikiki. Service was top notch and great salad, but main course was good.

Lovely waiters. Long wait for dinner (just under two hours from order to delivery). Food presentation beautiful, taste not subtle, extremely salted. Tables cramped, waiters bumping into the back of chair. Wine excellent. Won't go there again.

We have been fortunate enough to eat at Alan Wong's on every Oahu vacation and it simply never disappoints. The flavors, presentation, and service are always amazing. Every course on the tasting menu was fabulous from the ahi/avocado stack, soup and sandwich, short ribs, ginger crusted onaga and snapper, to the creative and delightful coconut dessert ending. Even the bread... More
