if you DO NOT know food AND want to experience pretty food, then you WILL enjoy ALAN WONGS. It has a great atmosphere and good service. A friend, who does NOT know how to cook, and is picky with different/new kinds of food highly recommended Alan's. He went there for their anniversary. They enjoyed it... but they don't know what... more

The food was interesting in a fusion sort of way. The appertisers were excellent and we should have stopped there as the main course was very ordinary and a bit of a mess. There was plenty of staff around however seldom found there way to our table after the order was taken. more

We had our dinner at Alan Wong's after our wedding on the beach. Just the two of us. We ordered the 5 course menu based on reading some reviews that the 7 course was overwhelming in terms of the amount of food-- and 5 courses were plenty! So so good. The starter included a cold tomato soup and foie gras... more

Do not bother going to this terribly overrated expensive restaurant. I have eaten at many 5 star restaurants around the world and this is a ONE star. It is very small and noisy and the waiters are terribly disinterested in you. This had to be one of the worse meals I have eaten. I had to return my scallop entree... more

Travel all over the world and this is a top notch restaurant with top notch service to match!! Second time this year we went to this restaurant. The first time we did leave time to really enjoy this so second time we specifically made reservations well in advance and made sure we had plenty of time to enjoy. We would... more

Do the 5 course tasting menu wtih the wine. It is worth the price and a bargain compared to ordering full meals off the menu. Probably the best fine dining in Oahu. Make a reservation. more

The fixed price 5 course menu is a real deal--$75.00. Actually, it is a 7 course meal, as they give you two appetizers and two desserts. My image of the operation running the restaurant is that they take pride in what they do--from the moment you enter, till you leave. We've eaten all over the world in a lot of... more

We came here to celebrate a birthday. Asked for a table on the lanai which gave us a view of the city and mountains. Food and service were just great. They have a tasting menu or you can order a la carte. Our experience here lived up to all our expectations. more

my husband and I dined there a week ago and we absolutely love alan wong! they use all local grow materials (as a matter of fact, when you ride elevator to the restaurant, you will see pictures of local vendors on the wall everywhere). the food presentations are unique, don't miss the wonton poke and big bag! they will give... more

We had dinner at Alon Wong's during our last night at Oahu. The food was amazing!!!! it really is #1!!!!! It was really hard to choose what to order because everything on the menu sounded soo good and people eating around us had plates that look delicious. But i think anything you order here will be good either way. I... more
