The food was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing from the appetizer to the dessert. You must try the sangria, coconut sorbet dessert as well as the steak entree. I had the dinner sampler of their most popular dishes this was a very good choice and was prepared perfectly. The portions are great and the food did not disappoint. The only reason... More

A big reputation, and it delivers, at least on the food. The five course tasting menu was wonderful, with soft, sticky ribs, perfect lobster, the wonderful signature ginger red snapper with corn and the quirky but excellent appetisers and desserts. The service was generally perfect, although I should mention a 20 min delay in seating was irritating. However, a truly... More

Honolulu is not one of the places you think about when discussing truly GREAT cuisine. Alan Wong elevates the food of Hawaii to a world level. The setting is a bit disconcerting when you come up to an office building in the middle of nowhere. But when you exit the elevator you entera truly fine dining establishment. My favorite place... This was our second time to Alan Wong's and loved it the first time. But, I think this time was even better. We went with another couple to celebrate my husband's birthday. Don't go for a view or a beautiful location. Go for great food and drink! Order the sangria; it is amazing. We ordered the tasting menu and we... More

We had Alan Wongs recommended & booked by our hotel & went there for our 10th Wedding Anniversary. We were delighted and surprised when our menus had our names printed with the date and occasion. It made us feel really special. We had the degustation menu of "Classics" matched with wine. It was wonderful. The Kalua Pig Sandwich and The... More

Amazing Hawaiian food experience. The dinner was really enjoyable: excellent food plus exquisite service. We started with the chopped ahi sashimi, try it! Amazing! Main course was also nice but the spotlight goes to the dessert. If you go there, ask for "the coconut" - just incredible! The treatment also deserves its recognition. Really nice and attentive people. It is... More

I had read all the good reviews about Alan Wong's and decided to take our family here for our last night in Hawaii. Even though we booked last minute we were given a table by the window and had a picturesque view of a rainbow while we ate! The short ribs were to die for; my husband said the onaga/red... More

After a day catching up with my UHS classmates (50th reunion), our family of 3 shared a spectacular real Honolulu/Hawaiian dinner with a view of Makiki and Moiliili. I opened with the Ho Farms cucumber martini. Our shared salad and lobster tofu agedashi were perfect starters. Everyone ordered the ginger crusted onaga without regrets and finished with "The Coconut". The... More
