I took my wife here for her birthday last month, The staff is friendly and happy but two things; First- our waiter was far to touchy, I don't mind a hand on my shoulder every now and then but not every time you come to the table. It was so bad that the party I was with started making a... More

We have visited Alan Wong's 3 times in the last year, with and without friends. They always hit the mark, with impeccable customer service and delicious food. Getting up to the restaurant is always interesting in a small elevator with unmarked buttons, but once there, you are seated quickly (with a reservation). The staff is a bit overblown, but that's... We would have rate this restaurant excellent, but the service was both arrogant and snooty. All dishes were well prepared and great tasting. Perhaps it was only our waiters that needed better training, Since the food was so god, we would return.

You should not leave Honolulu without eating here! We eat here every time we visit Oahu. The food and the service are top notch and always consistent. The onaga is my all time favorite with the opakapaka a close second. It's well worth the trip from the Waikiki strip to come here. And don't forget to try The Coconut for... More

Alan Wong's is a must-experience restaurant for any Oahu visitor. Don't let the location -- several blocks away from Waikiki Beach -- dissuade you. From the moment the 3rd-floor elevator door opens, you will be delighted with the service you receive and the simply incredible dining experience. Our server recommended the ginger-crusted onaga, and I was glad he did. Can't... More

This dinner was to be the highlight of our trip to Hawaii, while I can't fault the food, the service was very rushed. We ordered the tasting menu with matching wines (not cheap) and we were served all our dishes in just over one hour. And then offered the bill as a hint to leave. While I have no issue... More

The restaurant is very pretty. The food is great! I had a big hamburger with Pineapple and guacamole. It was perfect. Everyone at our table loved their food.

This restaurant and experience was everything we expected... Fabulous food, precise service and special touches. We had the tasting menu with the wine pairing and, although very pricey, was worth it. An absolute must for a special occasion in Honolulu!
