If you are in Waikiki you have to make time for Duke's. Bar and patio are always fun. Sometimes it's a battle to get a table but the people watching and the view of the beach make it worth it. Everything on the menu is good and the staff is always nice.

Went in on a spur of the moment. There was a 40 minute wait time, however, we just passed the time at the bar. The service was extremely friendly and the meal was divine (we both had a fish meal). Well worth the visit!

Cold beer, good food, excellent service. I had the Korean street tacos (excellent), wife had a burger. Lunch buffet from 11-3 looked great, but we missed it. Props to our server - answered out irritating questions, prompt service, great recommendations. And the view ain't bad either!

Duke's is our favorite restaurant in Waikiki! The memorable view, electric atmosphere, professional service and delectable food sets it apart. Our most recent visit included two other couples, all of which enjoyed it so much we agreed to eat there a second time before leaving Waikiki. Be sure to reserve your seats for dinner as the wait can be lengthy... More

Do yourself a favor and make Duke's the first meal you eat when you arrive on Oahu. (And then, if you're a little obsessive about this place -- like we are -- you'll come back again ... and again). You just can't beat getting off of the plane and then heading over to Duke's as fast as you can. It... More

I'm not sure how I feel about this restaurant as I have had both good and bad experiences here. The first time we dined here, we wanted a casual dinner experience and were told that the Barefoot Bar was what we wanted. Asked if we could make reservations and were told that they do not take reservations. So went to... More

We met friends here for drinks and dinner. We had a reservation for a table for 11 in the main dining room but when we got there, we realized that you can't get "bar" food in the dining room and since we had our kids, teens and young adults, with us and we knew they would want burgers and stuff.... We spent 11 days in Hawaii and went to Dukes twice--once for lunch and once for dinner. The lunch buffet was awesome with a wide variety of salads, meats, cousecouse, pastas, etc and worth the $16 charge. We learned how busy Dukes is so we made a reservation for dinner a few nights later. Dinner was just as tasty with... More
