Not worth the money. Food wasn't great and portion was very small. My family is jamaican and this was not jamaican food.

This is another Triple D restaurant we tried and we were not disappointed this time. First and foremost, you cannot see this restaurant from the road. You must enter the paid parking lot and find it from inside that parking lot (get there early though because the parking out fills up). You will notice that it is pretty much a... More

This is my second time going to Jawaiian. The food is great and different from the typical food around Waikiki. This restaurant is located in Kaimuki which is only 10 minutes from Waikiki Beach area. I had lunch on a Thursday and had the Jerk Chicken (umm umm good) and the pineapple/ginger drink. Then I returned on a Tuesday and... More

I am not an expert regarding Jamaican cuisine -- a couple of meals in Jamaica and one meal in a restaurant here many years ago. I don't even remember what I had at that place and never returned. But this place is great! My wife and I both enjoyed our meals -- many options on the menu. She had the... More

This place is fabulous! The Jamaican chef is cooking his grandmother's recipes with culinary skill. The atmosphere is great! Small, hole in the wall, great find! Staff is friendly, the chef came out to visit with us. Wish I had found this place sooner.

This place was a little hard to find, tucked inside a courtyard but well worth the hunt. Chef Cassie's food was not only delicious but pretty too. We were not too hungry but wanted to try this place so we had appetizers. Spicy Jerk Wings & Jerk Shrimp served with Coconut Curry Sauce were great! Chef Cassie walked over to... More

The restaurant is small, but has a very relaxing atmosphere. It is not very visible from the street, which I think adds to the overall adventure/experience. I had seen the restaurant on "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives" and thought that my group would all enjoy it. The food was incredible. We started with 2 appetizers: jerk shrimp with coconut curry sauce... More

This little gem is tucked away into kaimuki, the restaurant though small has its own charm offers a sweet attempt of an island restaurant setting. Service is basic friendly prompt but nothing that makes me jump for my food. The food it self is its money maker well spiced and not too heavy (I ordered the jerk chicken yhats two... More

We paid a visit to this restaurant after it featured on food networks DDD and found the food was good but not great. We ordered the jerk chicken wings and blackened chicken, both of which were mildly seasoned. The decor is ok but seems a little dark and dingy in the evening. There are not a lot of choices for... Perfect atmosphere. Very friendly staff. A must do if you like authentic jamaican food. Ive been there twice and now my Hawaiian friends go there frequently. In a great location and parking is not difficult which is rare for Hawaii. There is many others activities in the area. Prices are very reasonable which also is not common for the high... More
